NARANTUUL ,The old black market of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

In my travel to Mongolia, a must-see attraction for visitors is the Narantuul market in Ulaanbaatar now affectionally called the black market. The amount of goods for sale in acres of the market is staggering. I am shopping for small gifts before I return to Canada. My friend and work associate Khayanna makes sure we get to the market and he is constantly making sure we stay safe. The stalls of clothing fabric, stalls just for buttons or sewing items, Mongolian horse tack, furniture, and mattresses outside while we shop at minus 18c. Mongolians love stuff, and shopping is an event..I will return in another month for the last souvenir shopping

Wow, what a great market. Watching this, we felt like diving into being there with you. Fascinating array of merchandise and quantity. As you say the locals look like hard working honest folks, appear the goods are decent quality. Super video Will, we loved coming along for the views.
