IT'S QUITE HEART WARMING TO SEE YOUR SON NURTURING SIMILAR INTERESTS AS YOU. SURE MAKES YOU A PROUD PAPA. CARRY ON TOGETHER AS A TEAM. LOVED HIS MOUSTACHE.
I've viewed the beautiful Norway, now wonderful Copenhagen, it's relaxing to watch places I've never been (and never will be), like I am touring the country myself, beautiful film you produced. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely enjoyed this video. I spent a too-short couple of days in Copenhagen about 10 years ago. This was almost as good as a return journey, which sadly will never happen. Thank you!
have really enjoyed you taking me through ''my Copenhagen'' at you slow pace, beautiful shots and views... extraordinarily beautiful presentation THANK YOU !!!! and now for a good cup of coffee... saving this one for my friends and of course posting it on my fb site
Thanks for that so informative and beautiful presentation! Besides, the inspired narration reminds me the way my granny used to tell me unforgettable stories and fairy tales.
Thanks for Sharing - I have seen the Copenhagen through your eyes by sitting in India - liked it loved it and subscribed it to see your wonderful videos.
Great work on this video! I love the commentary, camera work, the facts (which are 99% of the time completely correct) and the attention to detail. Keep it up, new sub and definitely a huge like from a satisfied Dane.
This is easily the best presentation you will find on 'RUclips' about Copenhagen. It was professionally done by someone who had an obvious affinity with this city! My wife and I usually visit Copenhagen twice a year, and have been there 18 times but 'covid' has put a stop to that this year, and how we both miss it so much. It's a wonderful City and we regard it as our second home! We always stay at the same hotel on Nyhavn, which is excellent, but despite your stay being out of the city, I was very impressed with the apartment you stayed at. Any chance you could supply the name and address for future reference? Any plans for a future stay in Copenhagen or was one visit sufficient?
Kenneth Hodges Thanks Kenneth, re the accommodation all I remember is that it was an AirBnB. It was excellent and the people were very helpful. Thanks for the comment, I’m trying to develop a style that allows viewers to come with me as it were, and stay out of their faces, my philosophy, if that’s the word, is that people want to see the place not my face! My other favourites in Europe are the films I did on Bruges, Vienna, Venice, Pisa and Girona. Re the return visit, last trip back to the U.K. was on SAS (cheap Business Class) and actually changed planes in Copenhagen and thought of stopping, and flying Nate out to meet me for a couple of days but didn’t work out! Always appreciate your comments. Paul
Thanks for looking but no matter about this. I did 'google' the link you gave me and it showed up as a cafe! I will take a look at your film on Bruges, a place I have never been to but feel attracted to! I note that you have also done films on Norway. Such a beautiful country, although I have only had a glimpse of it, by one holiday which took in Flam and Bergen
Kenneth Hodges That location was what i gave you, it was a high rise, about 14 stories, opposite the swimming pools, I could not see it when I searched, my guess is that it is no longer available! Paul BTW My Norway films are very well known, thay have millions of views! Western Norway is coming up to 2 million! I have about 20 Norway films.
Copenhagen was to me a charming city with interesting architecture. It was only the first leg of our Scandinavian tour, but at least I had the chance to explore the Stroget.
Behind that David-statue on your canal boat trip, was a red building. Not sure if your guide told you or knew, but in that, is a storage of display costumes, and it was build I think back in the 1700s, Westindian Warehouse, and back then it was there the tobaco, coffee and the sugar was collected and stored, from the slavery on St. Thomas back then.
We'll see, when it is. I have began to go to the Tank Museum in Bovington for tankfest, in last weekend of June. I have seen other videos, the guides didn't mention this red house. And I only know from a Danish History series, being shown recently.
No guide? Who was the woman with the microphone then? And how would you then have been able to tell those things in the video? -Even I didn't know that about the roof of the opera house, that some have jumped from it
Ok, a lady on the boat gave a commentary, but I researched the Red Bull diving. I do an in depth research even before I visit a place, but still miss some things. We also often have no time to do everything due to time restraints. Thanks. Paul
Seeing plenty of Cph-videos - strange that one of the best were hiding from me. Such great narrator skills in many ways. The lesson long presentation felt like a few minutes.
Guys you are just amazing, your voice is so clear and full of wisdom while explaining the history of the city.. Truly, I love Denmark in specific Copenhagen as I would like to visit it oneday .. And sure this video will be one of the best references I have ever had about Copenhagen
Thanks for this video, it was very useful for my son and I when weekend to Copenhagen last month. I'm going to watch your other films for some more travel inspiration. :)
I look forward to your upcoming ones. I have a few interesting videos on my channel but nothing up to your high standard. Click on my name to see them. There are a couple of Segway videos and a couple of bike rides in various European cities as well as a Singapore luge video.
Great video, super narration and wonderful music. My dad was from Kobenhaven and I first visited in 1963 and several times since. I took the canal tour and went up the round tower not to mention several visits to Tivoli Gardens and the Carlsberg brewery/museum. Fond memories brought back to me by this video. Thanks.
@@prsw100 hi paul😍 im grateful for your reply,,,wow,,,for i thought you only have europes video,,,,ooooh so nice you have asian too....ill chek it soon💕💕💕💕💕
Shandy love Thanks Shandy, most of the films are on my website at Xscion.org. You can see categories there. The latest ones may not be on because I need to add them. Where in the PI are you? Paul
Fantastic film! You are a very good film maker and great storyteller If visiting again, try the National museum, Botanic garden, The Glyptotek, Carlsberg Museum and world oldest amusement park "Bakken"
Thanks, we do want to go again. We actually went to more places but i lost a whole days shooting! The best day too! I still feel bad about it! Great city, great people.
I live in Copenhagen and you and your son has made an fantastic video with absolut correct details. But next time you hit Copenhagen concact mee and i show you the most fantastic lunch restaurant, where guest from all over the world come. - But beautiful presentation of Copenhagen.
Paul, you have amazing voice. Really I enjoy your melodious narration. More so Copenhagen is one of my most preferred city which I wish to visit one day.
@Jack Smith Well we are the best in English as non English speakers but the more south the better they are at german and less in English. Well I know we have a lot but I dont real see them and I have friends that are by UK parents
Key word: "talk" Key word two: "Copenhagen" and then a brief trip down memory lane. My father immigrated to Canada in 1929, aged ten, and when I was about 18 a friend commented Moe didn't have a Danish accent, instead sounded like he was from Britain. I asked Moe about that and he said he practiced speaking by imitating the BBC radio. Some years later a woman ("J"), who I lived with for 12 years used to joke that when Danes spoke they sounded like seals whereupon she played a recording of seals and then began imitating the way Danes speak. Damn' if she wasn't right about that. Moe's mom named him Mogens (sounds like moans), but he changed it in Canada to Morris and later we changed that to Moe. His wife was named Winnifred but she answered to Winnie. We changed that to Win. Win and Moe. They had no idea J and I were thinking of Curly, Larry and Moe when we addressed them like that. Now back to a tour of Copenhagen and the people who have a seal accent.
I will check, but if you go to AirBnB and type in Oresund you will recognise it. It is 100m from the railway station and I can wholeheartedly recommend it..
I have a question. How did all those boats with those high masts got to get where they were? How did they get under those low bridges, or is there another way for them to get at their moorings?
Nyhavn has a bridge about halfway up the canal and it raises to allow the boats through and there is direct Nyhavn canal access to the harbour. There are bridges on the other canals that raise as well.
a boring Sunday afternoon, lie on the soft sofa and watching your touring films is a happy and so enjoy.
Very informative & interesting post of beautiful Copenhagen
I live in Malmö, the swedish city on the other side of the bridge and i think this is an exellent presentation of our beloved Copenhagen. Thanks!
Did you see my film on Malmö?

Very, very, very cool...-!!!
you talk like you escaped from old book story
Key word: "talk" Key word two: "Copenhagen" and then a brief trip down memory lane.

Whats the name of the music pleasee? Amazing videos, thanks for everything!!!
I have a friend named Morton from Denmark... He's a Great Dane.
What is the name of the cafe you enjoyed twice? I can't quite get it from your video
not named it is called: Restaurant københavner(copenhagener) cafeen😀
2200bronx thank you
Great video! Where did your son get his phone-holder he used in the video?
Thanks
I have a question. How did all those boats with those high masts got to get where they were? How did they get under those low bridges, or is there another way for them to get at their moorings?
They were on the seaward side! (Or they lowered the mast!) Newhaven is on the seaward side!
Paul Laskaris The bridges can be raised and lowered, but they are only allowed to sail in and out, a few hours a day😉
But most of the ships you see, are restaurants or theathers.
Nyhavn has a bridge about halfway up the canal and it raises to allow the boats through and there is direct Nyhavn canal access to the harbour. There are bridges on the other canals that raise as well.
exceptional!!!
Copenhague: Preciosa ciudad!!!
Very good video. Which camera did you use?
All my equipment is on my website at xscion.org. The Sony Z100 was used on this film.
Take care .
The background triumphant music is too loud & ignoring...
