The thing all these screencaps made me realize is how expressive the characters faces are while hitting or being hit. They actually put a lot of work in the faces.
This is why the audience models look bad in comparison, they favored higher polygons on the fighters (they could not do both due to the ps2 hardware limitation). They really did everything right with this game. 👌

Most styles with parry - are boring. Mamba's combos suck, slow and predictable.
@@MisterLex to me most styles with parry + are boring. I think that the two most overrated Styles are Reflex (MA,KB+SF) and especially Tonny (KB,SF+MA), I think Element (SF,KB+MA) is the better of the three.
