I'm not usually a huge fan of these mock sets, but I really enjoyed seeing father and son getting down like this and sharing some quality time.
Kevin "masterice..lol" Saunderson has been my favorite D.J since 1988. I love this set because is spits in the face of those who say " he can not get down on house"... well, here you go to all you HATTERS!!! He ripped shit, and had then jumping! Peace to my boy Kevin Saunderson, A.K.A E-Dance!

Saundersons a techno legend that pioneered the sound in the mid to late 80s, it beggars belief that people doubt he can mix house, house&techno go together like man&wife, can't stand the critics, just enjoy the real classy underground sound, death to generic main room electro/house fuckin EDM, so wank EDM, so ironic that the classless US mainstream think EDM is their discovery when proper real underground house/techno ,art music was being created right under their ignorant Pinocchio noses nearly 30 years ago, Chicago,Detroit,New York, Philly major cities like this where the true house&techno sound was pioneered,USA you used to be the true house nation yet you choose to embrace rock, indie rock,and bubble gum pop,stale genres that haven't moved with the times, Britain embraced house&techno like no other nation on this planet,for me personally now Britain is the true house nation and the Germans rule techno with some talented input from the talented detroit underground scene, underground resistance,richie hawtin,Carl Craig, wise up USA you don't run everything.

+EatIt2000 To be honest, I can't recall a boiler room set where the crowd is going nuts. I enjoy the sets and have a deep respect for the DJ's but the crowds are much different today than they were 10-20 years ago.

now i wanna see it from this point. and excuse my bad english. if my father would say to me: son we have gig together. and when i would play a great session like this... amazing. and the father in this story here is kevin saunderson. idol of thousands and heard by many more thousand.. everytime a grounded professional sort of style. the founder of techno. i heard him on timewarp and palazzo and maybe tresor.. has a good wire to his son. and the son did a top notch sesssion. he must be very proud. great to hear and see.

I love all these people going on about what the mix needs and how Kevin looks and blah blah...the guy practically invented this stuff and you're trying to tell him what it needs...unbelievable. He'll tell you what it needs. All these fake ass DJs spending $80,000/yr at Full Sail University who never played a gig telling the guy who invented the shit what it needs. Just stop...you look stupid. All it needs to is people to dance to it and he has that. If the effects were too much for them, guess what...they'd leave.. Looks pretty packed to me. If it's not your thing then move on...but you'd be missing history. Educate yourself then play a gig and make your own mistakes.

I rep my city and play my own music. They all play my records but the fans can take years trying to find credits or track listings. The people can not trust that every dj wants them to know who the artists is. You'd be floored to know the level of hate and envy directed at guys like me. They can't do what artists do and they sabotage us at every turn hoping technology will give them the chance to be us. Thus the big dj boom that made house separate from EDM. A hand full of good guys and the rest crabbin out. The people have to buy the music from the artist and keep track of that artist. No one else can be trusted to enrich the scene but the artists. Self preservation has nothing to do with togetherness in music.

i may be the minority here but i like the long camera shots versus the close up on the dj shots... i find it a bit more interesting watching the crowd than watching most djs... but hey that's just me. And aint Kevin from Detroit o.O

I loooove Kevin Saunderson, he is our Brother, Father Founder With Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Richy Hawtin (even if some of you are disagree, know your history... those three first never recognized Hawtin as a founder because didn't live in Detroit but definitely had a huge print in this concept of techno movement-> look how techno has been spread around the globe with him, sven väth, Garnier....) still gotthat .... Dantiez should take some class with his father for how to built a set and make the crowd comes in communion with each other. to become as one with the DJ... great tunes is one thing, performing and mixing with and for the crowd is an other one... it's A Work
