Been waiting for the career mode! Loving it so far
Me too, I’m glad they did a simulation type of style instead of a theatrical type of career mode.
Boxing game way better then UFC 5 especially how they took time for the career mode this is what a lot of people thought UFC 5 was gonna do but UFC 5 just focused on online play and ring entrances that's about it UFC undisputed was better this boxing game took its time and the story mode is what we all wanted since the fight night champion days
This game doesn’t even have better boxing than ufc5 and im the most prolific ea ufc hater. This game never caught on cuz it’s not that good and champion is still better
Loving the series bro. Love as well your Macho Man impression is spot-on… but also still Canadian ‘…not talking aboot the sub’ 😂 thanks for brightening my day. I miss being young and gaming with my brother in games like Fight Night and Evander Hollyfield. This kinda brings all that back. :)

In the 2nd match, 3 seconds into the match, the announcer: "I was expecting more punch output." What? Was he expecting rockem-sockem robots? 😂😂😂

They really need to quintuple the amount of dialogue that the commentators have and improve it so that it really sounds like they are talking in a live fight as well as adding that they say names of unlicensed boxers and their records because it is really going to get repetitive hearing the same thing over and over again
Even Fight Night Champion, which has more variety in dialogue, became repetitive given enough time and the replayability of Undisputed is going to be screwed if they don't do it.

I'm only 19 in career mode and I'm ranked 39th for the wbc 39th for the IBF 35th for the WBO and 29th for the SCI lightweight belt I haven't had this much fun in awhile
I like the gameplay changes. Its smoother and the difference between styles and skills is obvious now. And we finally get this mode! Great vid Ricky

I loved the first fight, just attacking the body and actually having the damage accumulate was sick
Any word on if they will be adding more ring gear? Like adding warmup robes upon ring entry would be a nice a touch!

There is potential here for sure. We have to keep in mind over the next five years, when new releases come out, more money, more funding, better animations and actually nail the dynamics of punches and impact. We need to appreciate this for their first big game.
Not that I've ever played it as I'm an XBOX console user.
You are not wrong. It has many loose ends and rough edges but given the studios size and budget. What they have produced is pretty amazing. It can't be compared to UFC of course. And once you played it a good couple of times you will see the way everything works and that not all that much has gone into making the campaign. But given the man hours and budget. I am still pretty impressed.

Mode is fun. I didn’t have any reason to play the game and the bugs are insanely horrible but the game now that it has career mode is decently fun. But like I said the bugs like some hits not registering and the weaving being wacky is just bleh annoying

The ranking records are horrible though and not realistic as everyone 10 to 30 in rankings have 8, 9 or over 10 loses and no one your fighting is undefeated or just or 2 loses. Hopefully they change this and fighters are in top 20 should have great records and if you have more then 5 loses you probably shouldn’t be ranked so high

Man, I dunno what's so awesome in a text based career, I'm already bored of it tbh
I know it's early but I don't think it will be a big improvment at full release.
No minigames, no press conference, no weigh-ins, can't move in weights, no cutscenes, no dialogues.
What's different from FNC is that you have a coach, manager and a cutman, which you can choose from who you like, a weight system and the coach kinda telling you what to do, not to forget the negotiation system.
This could have been a good career but right now is just a cheap fan made career.
Im just happy that I don’t have to do redundant mini games that last longer than the fight😂 lots of things need to be fixed and added (especially social media) but this career mode has tons of potential.

😅 Funny When you said “the referee doesn’t see that” when the referee is not even in the ring smh 🤦🏽♂️ I hate the whole warping referee thing, they should’ve just made it to where the referees in the ring at all times, and if you get knocked down, it doesn’t even go to a loading screen he starts counting right then and there to keep the action going, we need that referee to break up clinches, etc. etc. I can’t believe they dropped the ball on that.

What I don’t like about this game is that the fighters look like a bunch of 80 year olds throwing slow punches at each other. Everything looks like it’s in slow motion.

Training and a few cutscenes with titles, faceoffs, and training modes will make this top notch! Still loving it though!
There are title matches and cutscenes before the fights. But you’re right they need some training modes. Maybe some better knockout animations too

Not gonna lie the tattoos is very disappointing, can’t even rotate them and are limited to the movement and limited to 1 tattoo per body part like what’s up with that, I’d love to have a tattoo system like on the ufc games
i started my career mode and after i saved the game and try to load my saved game nothing happens the game stuck in the loading screen. anyone else has this issue?Someone knows a fix?
Yeah i havent even got to play a single match or create my guy. Just stuck on loading screen. I'll close app and try again and still same loading screen issue.

Boxing is a fantastic sport and deaerves a game perhaps even two games. But this caree mode is dull .. it needs press conferences for big fights it needs the whole spectacal .. it needs training in gym to get bigger muscles. Options to either get bigger or shredded for speed .. its got to be better than this. Id rather they delay this to get it right ..

Idk what you all talking about, i think the career mode is garbage for a next gen boxing game. Who created these silly rubbish characters. Feels like a cheap crapy adventure game where you have to read everything until your fighting. I expected a gym. Shadow boxing. Sparring weights ect. Social media that you can interact and anoy other fighters. Press conferences. All you do is click until your fighting stupid ass fighters. Most gamers and boxing fans would or should hate this. Its only for a very small group of people that likes this type of game.

Yeah it won’t load a career match on steam deck unfortunately. it’s always a bit up and down on steam deck after updates though this game

@@RickyJSports Idc what a payed promo YT says. The game is poor. No Press Conference, no Faceoff, no Training, no Sparring. Its only a Fight Sim with nothing more. Wow you can change Gym which is only for Training which you cant play :D
