It surprises me how many people actually go through things like cutting themself and being suicidal. It saddens me, but I'm also happy that these people can tell their story here. To all those people: Hang in there. It gets better, believe me.

This is the song that brought me to God, 7 years ago. :D I thought no one could ever feel that way about me, but God did, I believed Him, and now my life will never be the same. It has changed so much for the better. If you are reading this, yes, Someone does feel that way about you too. Believe.

I saw this performed live last night. Most amazing thing ever. It really relates to me. The lead singer told the story behind this and it made me bawl.

i have those scars and i regret ever having to deal with the pain and suffering me and sooooo many other people had to deal with espesially when the people that u care for the most dont notice ur in pain but ur friend does and i got through it (kinda) those thoughts will never leave me cuz the scars are what makes the past real i love all who had to go through this!

Jack Swift I'm sorry. I really am. I know you've probably been told this hundreds of times but it's not your fault you were abandoned when you were born. It's the fault of whomever birthed you. So don't beat yourself up over it. And, that person was kind enough to give you your life, so you may as well live it to its fullest, right? The past is just something to learn from. Don't dwell on it. Focus on the now. On the future.
If people want to be assholes and mess with you, put them in their place. Show that you're not someone to be reckoned with. You seem like a pretty strong person, at least I think you are. Don't you dare ever give up. Never give in. Never back down. And eventually, you'll find someone that loves you that will hold you in their arms and never let go. Or maybe you'll be that person to someone else. You never know
You're right. I really don't have any idea what you're going through and have no idea where to begin any attempt to help. But, since I'm here, and have nothing else to do, I'm willing to lend an ear and some time for as long as your willing to "speak" and stay. Or we could both just stop here and go our separate ways. I can, however tell you, that I know what it's like to be blamed and picked on and ridiculed for everything. It's never been super bad, but it's certainly been there and the people were not scared to make life miserable. So I can understand the whole "people are cruel" deal.

Story of my life. I'm 13, i struggle with some depression. Theres this guy a little older then me, hes the only one who knows about my cutting, the problems between me and my mom, and about the plan of me and my friend wanting / planning to run away for a few and just getting away. Noone else knows, and still this guy looks at me like im a normal person. Like theres no marks on me and i live a happy life just like the next person. I want to thank Jack and thank skillet. to show. Your NOT alone!!
