Yeah it’s all one big character. He definitely has a different persona off camera. His old persona “Turbo” he seemed to not be so serious and treat people like trash and scoot for the character but now he’s slowly turning more serious each album he makes which is interesting

Actually he didn't create oliver tree as a name. His real full name is Oliver Tree Nickell. He's also done music under the name of "Tree"
Do you you really think that Oliver Tree is the first to have done this? Check out Dean and Gene Ween's band Ween!! They did it back when it wasn't cool and they were authentically having a laugh! And their musicianship was utterly prodigious....So there's your homework, Drew - check out Ween! They did it first. They've done it best.

Something about the line, “If you wait, I’ll wait” just fucking gets me every time. It’s simultaneously romantic, sweet, and considerate. Because “waiting” could mean literally anything, but the point is that you love someone so much you go with them when they’re ready to go. Sometimes that self-sacrificial, perfect timing, or a struggle, but in all circumstances you do it because of how much you care about the other person.
