Going to the word of God, being "straightened up Biblically", one is immediately confronted by denominational differences. I remember the first time I began reading the Bible in earnest, I was immediately struck by the contrast between what's actually in the Bible, and what I'd always been taught was "Christian".
I’m an SDA, then you have people from different denominations and would ask me a question about 1844. That SDA predicted God is coming and a great disappointment. I know most SDA doesn’t know how to answer this question. And these people that asked that question will bury you to the ground. Best is not answer it or refer this to a pastor. So you're saying that our body doesn't need rest? Our body is the same as it was 5000 years ago, but even more underdeveloped. Science says that it is very good to rest every day and when you rest on the 7th day, you think of the Creator. God made everything in 6 days, but on the 7th day he rested.

We have two bodies 1st Corinthians 15 44 we have a flesh body made out of dust and we have a spirit body made from the breath of God given to us at conception. 1844 the great disappointment? Nothing happened and there wasn't any disappointment for those that trust the word of God. The ones disappointed were following a false prophesy.

And the Bible is filled with stories about disappointments that God’s people went through because they are imperfect and make mistakes. The disappointment is prophesied in the book of revelation, William Miller was not a false prophet. He simply got confused about the actual event that took place. The timing is 100% biblical the 2300 prophecy was fulfilled in 1844, but Christian churches understand this, instead, they take a week from the prophecy and throw it into the future with no biblical support for doing so. Most Christian churches today follow some false biblical teaching leader or so-called prophet but the Seventh-day Adventist church gets picked on a lot because it is the only church that has 100% Bible back doctrines and that is to be expected because Satan doesn’t like the truth to come out

I have been an SDA since nine years old lived in multiple states traveled up and down the West Coast attending church seminars and events and listen to hundreds of sermons , read tons of literature that is Seventh-day Adventist and no where do I find that concept!
