    Friday afternoons are extra special to me thanks to you, Mary. Enjoyed seeing the chaise in the Rose Forever portion of the program. Wow! I'm inspired to make a few Tartan Topiary inspired tapers for my mother's 84th birthday on the 27th of this month. She has so much Blue Willow and will be taken by the clever candles.The lovely Celt music during the craft demo wasn't missed on your Fla friend.Happy Valentines and Mardi Gras to you.❤💜💚💛

    I absolutely love your channel. I must start by apologizing for not commenting on your last two videos. (Not that you would have noticed with all the subscribers you have 😅) I meant to go back and I didn't have a chance so today I forsure wanted to comment right away. In your other videos, you and your husband were just darling as always. I appreciate your sense of humor and how open you were during the Q&A.
    If it wasn't for your beautiful channel, I would never know about all these talented amazing Designers, Decorators, Icons in their field.
    Your narration is simple perfection. I could listen to you all day. Your channel is enjoyable and educational at the same time.
    I really like the craft portion of your video today. I am absolutely going to try it. It is a great way to jazz up a rather plain candle. I was just wondering, if after covering the candle let's say for the first time, can you easily remove the napkin and use the same candle to do it up again with a different napkin?
    Thank you so much for sharing such wonderful content!! 😊
    Have a pleasant day!! 🌹

      I read and try to respond to all of the comments, so thank you for this! I really do appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. I'm not sure if the napkins could be removed as easily as they are adhered. It depends on how much wax melted during the application. You could experiment on a broken or very inexpensive candle first. I hope you have a great weekend!

    Another beautiful book. Someone commented they didn't feel sophisticated enough to appreciate it. I feel fine, I just know most of these opulent homes with very wealthy people and budgets are not relatable to my simple life. But, I can still appreciate and be inspired by a certain vignette or gallery wall or floral arrangement. I just implement them on a scale that suits me and my small home. I really enjoy knowing after the book review we always get to see you and your home and projects. They are really my favorite.

    • @thetartantopiary
      @thetartantopiary  Год назад

      I thank you for that. I'm glad you can appreciate the vignettes as these sophisticated and often grandiose rooms can be dissected and reassembled into our own surroundings. Inspiration rather than duplication is the key. 💗

      Paula- I will tell you these roses aren't dusted easily. I am scared to try. The ivory rose bouquet on the right (as I sat the new one on the left of sideboard) was the one that was a year old and one would think that dust would really show up on those, but they still look great. I move them occasionally and keep them out of direct sunlight but that's it. I hope you have a great weekend too!
