When a bomb is detonated nearby a ranger tower, it could add a few holes for more projectiles to shoot out, but will make the ranger tower not upgradable.
Tower synnergy idea: when a bomb tower is placed next to a lookout tower, detonating it gives the mobs negative effects/ leaves a positive effects Field!

I also realize that Command Blocks actually make more sense for adventure maps and maps in general because datapacks are supposed to be distributed stand-alone and not in a world whereas with maps you want to make code specifically for that map as the code wouldn’t work anywhere else then the map, so it doesn’t make sense to make the code in a distributable form such as a datapack. So command blocks are actually perfect for your map and maps in general. But thanks for elaborating on why you chose command blocks.
Have you thought about encoding cutscenes also as sequence of items? You could then have a couple of simple command pillars that would get activated based on what hopper pulled from chest. It would require then setting and unsetting animation/transition states, instead of directly calling what has to be done in your current frame, and it would introduce a constrain of executing only one thing per two ticks, but at least that way you could easily write dialogs in books (some nbt, to select who's talking, and tellraw contents for text). The finished minigame looks great, but I personally would prefer if there was an option for changing the track, or environment.
Always my highlight when these come out. I think it would be cool if the lookout towers made your arrow flamable wich increases the explosion strength when hitting the bomb tower.

when a lookout tower is next to a bomb tower it could burn or grant a negative effect to surviving mobs or grant a effect to the player when in the explosion!
I know I'm late, but I have an idea Another evil tower known as the darkness crystal, which buffs nearby enemies and on T3, removes player's luck (if they have any) and gives them bad luck (which makes gold farms useless, basically they won't get any shards) and that's all!
Also add a separate removal and you get dark sharks that can be traded for light Once that debuff, enemies. By giving them slowness and weakness. And also add a poison tower.It's basically ice But with poison And at max it will give Whither@@AvidMc
When was the ice tower I could give it were whenever it’s near a lookout tower. It would reduce the movement speed and do overtime damage to all enemies around it when the lookout towers is level three.
This is awesome, maybe the lookout towers can boost the rate of fire or range of range towers when nearby. I think a co op option would be cool too, where the mobs or difficulty increases if you choose to play with more players. I thought the boss concept was really cool, but I think it should be more difficult to defeat and intimidating.

what if the lookout tower first give nearby players invis, 2nd str, 3rd disables nearby damaging tower for X seconds to take in the power of said towers and shoots one volley with the combined towers power per individual projectile(could even be a nova explosion or whatever) then that ability has a long cooldown and you still retain the invis and str, like 3x the disabling time or something like that for the "combining ability". A slowing tower(lvl1 25 % 3x3, lvl2 50% 5x5, lvl3 100% 9x9 lasting for like 3-5 sec with a cooldown of 2x or 3x the time the slow effect lasts) would be nice if you don't have that yet. A chain lightning tower and alike, more projectile aoe towers. last ditch effort things like traps you can put along the paths with poison, withering, fire, stun, slow, disorient(could make the affected walk a few blocks back towards where they came from) and so on effects. Basic towers could start out with just damage, 2nd lvl could add things like poison, wither, fire and so on. A blindness tower that blinds an enemy for increasing time as you level it up, lowering their detect range(melee range for ranged units, completely disables their ability to attack the player if the player has invis on top of that, also doesn't affect bosses), on lvl2 and 3,the affected mob could have a chance to walk back, starting with 10% chance per sec on lvl2 to 25% per sec on lvl 3. An ultimate tower that removes all towers and takes all of their powers and damage onto itself(so for it to be as useful as possible, you need at least 1 of each tower, also if you have 2 of a tower and you build the ultimate, it'll only count it as absorbing one tower, then you can build the ultimate tower again and that's how you "upgrade" it, BUT, for it to upgrade for example the lookout tower within the new ultimate tower, you have to have a new fully upgraded lookout tower out). You're probably not very keen on adding new towers and I know I'm late to the thing, but yeah.

What if bomber towers can add a explosive twist to other towers, minus the evil corrupt ones. Like what if bomber towers when placed next to a gold tower would add bombs,"snowballs with a tag/name detection to make them explode on contact with mobs, obviously the explosion can't be that devastating. Also added bonus mabey the strength of the snowball bomb explosion depens of what state the bomb tower is, like a basic level 1 bomber tower would make weak explosive bombs while level 3 bomb towers make big explosive bombs
Make an arena and teleport the players to that arena when they killed the final form of the Boss and make another form and make them to fight with him with a cool cut scenes and Boss powers ( use giant as the Boss npc )
The archer tower has a chance to shoot the bomb tower upgrade to 2 to 3 to make a highier chance to shoot it the ice tower next to the archer tower the archer tower now shoots frozen arrows

Same with Franek but instead of the Lookout Tower, its the ice tower and when the bomb detonates, it will freeze the mobs that are alive

The evil tower get a bath when we make all enemies stronger, but bosses, because whenever a boss appears, the boss, would move 10 times slower

When a gold tower is close to a freeze tower it has a small chance to spawn an ice shard that can temporarily stop an evil tower's effects

you can have a timer set so once you start there is little time between them so you cant take a long break

Yeah I wish bedrock had parity with Java. BUT bedrock does have some pretty awesome commands like screenshake, damage, and custom NPCs with dialog!
