2:19 ONEPIECE come aboard and bring along all your hopes and dreams, together we will find everything that were looking for, Onepiece ( the first onepiece intro is called we are)
Man this is some great command usage. It always amazes me how far it's possible to push vanilla Minecraft and you are for sure showcasing a great example of the endless possibilities that Minecraft holds.
This actually motivates me to continue working with commands in Minecraft in general. For awhile alot of people shamed me of my ideas for commands. And it made me not want to work with command blocks in general for awhile til I watched this video and as soon as I get home from work I am finishing my commnd block creation projects!
There is a server called 'Shotbow' that has a super smash bros gamemode that lets you beat up your friends in a variety of arena's and maps. Its great fun and has been around for 10+ years and still gets updated once in a while.
you could make a double jump using creative flight, atleast in bedrock edition, you can use the /ability to give the player flight, then after the player starts flying, revoke the flight permitions.
Such a cool Video and Video idea Just the creativity of thinking about super smash brothers in Minecraft is insane Also the design is amazing too, smth u could do is using a nebula floor (layers of painted glass with air between them) to give the whole arena a even more dramatic look
Umm just a suggestion 🤓: For my recreation of Hypixel throw out on my friends server(so I also couldn't use datapacks in the _slightest)_ I flipped the concept of launch rate on its head giving players very high knockback weapons, and giving them knockback resistance armour which I would decrease the knockback res of as the user take more damage. Bonus: Use leather chestplates and change their color based on damage to visualize the knockback.
If you test for the player in the air, then in a small delay summon barriers below you you can hit the jump again and go higher, it also feels like a double jump, once you jump again (which is tested by moving an armor stand forward and on the first jump it moves on a pressure plate then on the second jump it teleports back to its origin) once you jump twice it removes barrier blocks in a radius and bam, double jump
Very interesting, though I must mention I am on bedrock so that may be why I never thought of that, if it is I must have missed it, I may use that thanks
You could just use the black concrete on the bottom of the pit to detect when player leaves the arena. Using that method with addition of checking the players y value, you could detect all player knockouts in single @a selector (as @a at @s positioned ~ 48 ~ if block ~ 38 ~ black_concrete run tag @s[dy=100] add in_arena). Also cool addition would be actual scoreboard of wins, losses, win/lose (last X matches) - it can be done using loot tables and some easy nbt manipulation (loot players head, execute store to it scoreborad values, and then store them to chests to get permanent record of each player records). Such offline player scoreboard could be even used to give unique titles to players, and ensure that only one player will hold best record thophy/something even if all other players are currently offline.
That's such a good idea to use the black concrete! And I kept reading... oh my gosh, brilliant. That way I essentially "ray cast" the base of the pit up as high as I need to. I LOVE the idea of a scoreboard for all victories. That's a really smart way to implement it too. Amazing ideas as always :)
One of my first command block 'creations' was a giant slime boss fight where you would have to wear these specific boots and jump off slimeblock jump pads and when you landed it would explode and damage the boss, but I didn't know you could make explosions not do damage so I just had it so the explosion spawned wayyyy underneath you so it wouldn't hurt, wish I saw this a couple months ago.
11:01 you could actully avoid using a predicate (which u totaly shouldnt do cause datapacks are super cool and awesome) by not changing the attackers weapon but the targets knockback resistance attribute, (either /attribute or changing one armor piece with this attribute)
Curiosities: In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Steve and the other playable Minecraft characters (Alex, Zombie and Enderman) in that game, are considered the undisputed NUMBER ONE CHARACTER, that is, THE STRONGEST IN THE GAME. To this day, I can't believe that some characters from Minecraft, FROM MINECRAFT, kick everyone's ass in SSBU, including beings like gods or demons... they are a CUBIC THREAT.
@@AvidMc Hi, hope its not to early over at the US, I'd just like to know the seed for Avid Adventures, if you don't mind telling me. I'd like to try to build an adventure map!
@@CallMeLazyy. I’ll have to find it! The tricky part is a lot of terrain was generated in 1.16 and then I upgraded with every release, so the world is fairly unique!
hey, just saying, since i made the double jump idea in my game, you could give players that are in the air elytras, and you can detect when the elytra is used with a scoreboard. This way you can use the spacebar to jump midair instead of a crouch, which can sometimes ruin velocity
I’ve been jumping around this series, and every video I watch makes mebhappier that this channel was recommended to me! Keep on making great videos, pretty please? 🥺
You don't need a preticate right? Cuz if you uze the command "exdcute as @a facing @p[score="100"] run give @s minecraft_wood_sword" and then you use nbt to give it enchants and then you don't need pretacate. So can you tell me if i made a mistake?
WOW, i was making sure no one has made smash in minecraft. And if they had I was looking for ideas how i can make my own style of Smash, but DANG, did you make smash in Minecraft and and did it very nicely😱. Good job bro and love your edditing.
Thank you for such a kind comment! I totally encourage you to make your own version too! That’s the best part about Minecraft, there are a million different ways to do everything. Best of luck making content!
I’d love to tell you something, you do know if u use /clone it saves the block date thus allowing you to copy command blocks WITH STUFF INSIDE it hope this helps❤
I went for a pretty "budget" solution haha. Players always have resistance V on. I have a scoreboard that tracks damage resisted. I assign players to teams based on how much damage they've resisted. I then give players a knockback sword based on the team of the player they're looking at by using a predicate. Edit: it also works for bows with punch.
Fun fact the supersmashbros title screen I'm guessing that's what the picture is doesn't actually have Minecraft Steve also by the way here's the picture 1:18

This isn't even just good programming. The concept is fantastic. I love it.
Thank you! My favorite part about using command blocks is that I'm forced to come up with the most primitive solution for anything I want to make.
I really enjoy seeing the ways you manipulate the tools to make your projects happen!
I'm glad you do! I feel like using only command blocks and redstone allow me to come up with weird and unique solutions to things :D
@@AvidMccareful bro, I started using command blocks and now I have a full blown Java build environment
you could also make the levitation double jump by giving the player levitation then clearing it quickly, thus making it snappy
Thanks for the tip! I actually use this technique all the time now. Way better than creeper explosions and it works in modded servers like paper.
Using structure integrity for a transition is very clever!
Thanks! The first time I used that trick was on The Curse of Vilethorn boss, but I forgot to mention it in the video!
I gotta love this!! And also we can see the poke ball in the centre of the ring!!! Well things look interesting to me..
