    Guys .... guys ... let's just enjoy the beautiful music composed by this creative composer, ... and remember, before he "Belongs" to any country, territory, ethnicity, family, race, political party, etc. He's an "Individual" whose accomplishments are the result of his mindset, purposefulness and hard work.

      Romanian nationalists are worried about ethnicity оf composer.
      But "My Sweet and Tender Beast" is sold in the department of Russian Сulture on the shelf "Russian Music".
      And it is correct.

    • @Moldovanul_
      @Moldovanul_ 9 лет назад +107

      Juraweg1987 That's because Russia tends to capitalise on the success of others since forever. Not trying to discriminate here, but the composer is clearly Romanian/Moldovan and stated this countless times.

And even if these events are hard to come across and inaccessible at where OP is located at, OP still has the option of taking ballroom dance classes/lessons. They might throw an event every once in a while for their students to showcase what they learn and have fun.

    It was 1968, I remember being late at dinner and she kept waiting, her curly hairs tucked behind her head while one strand was still covering her left eye she was sad maybe worried or a little angry, I remember her gown blue satin she glowed like lake in moonlight that day I promised her to give my everything to her.
    It has been 58 years and she still appears there when couples dine and make promises.

      Maybe he was longing for that beautiful woman in the solitude of his hotel room, on the night he composed it? Maybe the goddess of moon and wilderness called Artemis whispered the tune in his artistic ears and inspired him? Whatever happened at it inception, a spark of magic hit the world. So listening to it always recreates that magic, inspiring me to aspire for greatness, while enclosed in the solitude of my wonder-like world and waiting for the Artemis of my life.

    Can we just appreciate how hard this waltz goes? It's kinda slow dancing, nice and cozy, gives you time to know your partner's rhythm so you don't step on each other's toes, then 1:22 drops and BOOM, everyone's spinning and dipping like it's a tango, then a second dose at 2:19, and a third at 3:10 just to make sure you're completely out of breath by the times it ends. Fucking love it.

    To all people fighting here, just stop praise the country you believe Eugen Doga is from or represents, just stop thinking that you are better than others in any sense only because you are from the same country as any great personality X. Try to show instead your own achievements, or , if you believe you have nothing to show the world, stop hidding in the back of great people from your own country. Being born in the same country with some X means nothing (really, nothing, trust me) about you and about how good you are. Concentrate more on the footprint you want to leave behind you.

      Artemis Balan, do not say bullshit. He always said he is Russian. His mother Yelizaveta Nikiforovna - 100% Russian
      farther Dmitriy Fedorovich - 100% Russian
      wife Nataliya Pavlovna - 100% Russian
      Now he lives in Moscow.
      And the music in this waltz is absolutely in Russian style. The Romanian music differs quite a lot.

    The first thing I think of when i hear this beautiful music is a Princess being forced to Marry a Prince who is a Beast Man of sorts. Shes scared and saddened to be given away to a family of Beasts to save her kingdom from Poverty. However when the Prince approaches her in the ballroom he asks her to a dance and she takes his paw from obligation. No matter how well dressed he is, she can't get past his beastly facade. Then he asks for a candle and a blindfold. He tells her the perfect Waltz can be done when two people trust one another and as they dance the candle will not go out. He asks her to trust him as even blinded he will do all to protect her and secure her happiness. When he puts on the blindfold shes still uncertain and sad. Then the music begins, they both hold the candle clasped between their hands and the other's hold each other. He tells her to trust him and hopes she will he happy with his dancing skills. The music picks up and they begin to waltz around the ballroom. The Princess is quite shocked how well he can dance despite the blindfold. He isn't holding her tightly and making sure not to scratch her with his claws. Soon she becomes fixated on him as their dance intensifies, their practically gliding on the floor together. She notices his ears moving back and forth, he's listening to everything around him and sensing not only the music but her movements. Shes entranced by his skills and begins to embrace him further as they continue they're dance until the music plays down. After the music stops the candle is still lit but the Princess notices some of the wax dropped onto the Prince's paw. Shes asks why didn't you drop the candle? He responds, then you would have been burned Princess, i told you, trust me and I will protect you. A servant takes the candle and wipes his paw while another takes off his blindfold. He is greeted not by the sad expression when the blindfold was put on but a genuine smile from the Princess.
