I started a new Pokemon region based on Greece, and Jestelf reminds me of a fakemon I made for it called Fungarus, which is a mushroom mixed with the 100 eyed Greek god Argus, cuz mushrooms with many eyes are common in media, and I’m pretty sure there is a mushroom named after Argus.

Okay, this is now my favorite gym leader in the Gladeos region. Every single mon on his team is a winner (yes, that includes the mime), and I love how the Jestelf line turned out.
Call me crazy, but I imagine your Fairy-Type Gym Leader meeting the ones based on the Brothers Grimm from a idea from a Pokemon region based on Germany. Anyway, Merry Christmas!
