Don't be afraid. Most American Bars are full of love. Everybody is there for a reason, everybody understands that, and most people are civil, and if there is a problem, usually somebody will stand up for you.
Toby was an American PATRIOT who did so much for our military folks. He spent 183 days in his life entertaining the troops overseas. He has a phenomenal catalog, but his best IMO was a song called "American soldier". Chilling and solemn.
No he was a grifting fraud who knew fools like you would lap his bs nationalistic up, and he was kind of the father / part of the modern cancel culture movement that stood against free speech. He's far right goon. How many on the right bashed Obama, Biden doing exactly what he got the Chicks driven off the air for? How many times did HE bash those Presidents, but again drove the chicks off the air for EXACTLY what he did. Pure hypocrisy.
Toby Keith is a great artist and a proud American, Not as good as I once was, and Courtesy of the Red White and Blue, I recommend highly. RIP Toby Keith
Sadly there are some ignorant people in america like anywhere else in world where foreigners are not as welcomed, best advice is just fit in and don't let others get under your skin
I drive by the water tower with his name on it in Moore Ok every day he was a great entertainer and loved his Oklahoma Sooners and more importantly he was a great father and husband, RIP Toby Keith Covel 🙏
This song is mostly tongue in cheek comedy. I know people who have gone to bars all their lives and have never been in a fight. Then again when I was young I fought my way out of quite a few bars because after a few drinks I thought I was 8' tall. 😀
There's a notorious popular dive bar in the country side of my area, where everyone fights all the time, and there not big on the law, no alchole limit, you can drunk as you can, and they don't follow the 2am last call, they stay open till 4 or 5 in the morning, or untill the crowd starts settling down and feel its time to go home lol people enjoy a brawl very masculine place, but everyone welcome, rednecks, bikers, african Americans, old, young lol
Rest in Paradise Toby. We lost Toby to cancer recently. He has songs that make you cry, patriotic and funny ones like this. Please react to more TK! You will fall in love with him as millions have! btw smoking is banned in bars now. 🤠
Great reaction, and Toby Keith is at the top of the list when it comes to country music. His videos are always a bit comical. Dont worry if you come to America and go into a bar, there usually is not any trouble, and when there is trouble, its usually because of a woman. And the chicken wire, .... well let me tell you, Ive been to almost every bar in Texas, and I have never seen any chicken wire - yet ! HOPEFULLY, you guys will react to these songs by Toby - "I Aint As Good As I Once Was" and "Who's Your Daddy". Both are hilarious!
I hope you enjoy it, just a fun song 😂 The other day when you reacted to Aerosmith there was chicken wire around the stage. That’s what made me think of this song. Toby has so many hilarious songs, and patriotic songs also.
Guys, I'm sure you would have no problem walking into any bar in America...you guys are cool so you won't have any trouble. Most bars even here in Canada are good places to drink and socialize...your instincts will tell you when you see a dive bar and not go into it.
Bars in America are as diverse as it's people and tend to reflect the culture of the area. The bars Toby is referring to is considered a blue collar bar in rural America. We have many and everyone has their favorite watering hole where everyone knows their name. And yes they have all kinds. But for the most part everyone gets along as long as no one acts a fool in which case they will be dealt with and escorted out. However, were you to find yourself in America looking to visit one of our fine dive's perhaps you should take one of us along just to avoid any cultural misunderstandings as a word or phrase can have different meanings in different places.
Rip Toby! ' please check out " Don't Let The Old Man In" His last performance on AMA Award show. . he has alot of funny songs. But many patriotic songs!❤❤❤
I once lived in Clinton, and I know the kind of bar Toby is singing about. Dominika you would be safe. Andei may not like the guys checking you out. Toby was a great guy, he is missed. ☮💚🎶
That type of bar represents a very small percentage of bars in America in my opinion. They are known as "roadhouse" bars or "honkytonks". Many bars are also restaurants as well and very few have chicken wire. But it does look cool in movies, to have the atmosphere of a roadhouse bar.
More Toby Keith please. Start with a light hearted song "As Good As I Once Was." From there you might try his last performed song "Don't Let The Old Man In." He has a ton of material from very funny to very serious.
It all depends on what bar you go to, you can have your music bars where people just jam out, upscale city bars where you grab a streak or a fancy meal and drink with co workers or something, and you have your down home blue collar bars where people like to act on there natural instincts, where there is often times fights and flirty women, its just where you go and what crowd your into
You lived in England and there is way more fighting there then there is in the USA. I'm american and there really isn't much trouble in bars unless you want trouble, where as when I lived in England for awhile I wasn't given a choice of being in lots of fights.
There are lots of kinds of bars. Lots of different sub-cultures. You find one you like. :) For a bar such as this, they have a weird tradition of throwing beer bottles at the band if the LIKE the song. So, the chicken wire is for that. I would still worry about getting glass in my eyes, but I can't say more since I've never actually been in this type of bar. Other types of bar, but not this one.
Really depends totally on what bar and its location but most places you will be fine and have some fun. Most problem in any bar is someone too intoxicated
This song is not so much about bar culture as it is neighborhood hang out culture. Yes, there are some bars, especially in the south, where you get this kind of wild behavior. However, I have travelled a lot and I have noticed that especially in small towns and villages, in pretty much every country, there is that one spot, like a restaurant, a cafe, or pub, where all kinds tend to gather and you get a real mix of all kinds of people and everyone pretty much gets along. At least until someone insults someone else's mother's cooking or some such nonsense.
If you see wire in front of the stage you are jn the wrong bar. Seriouusly, bars vary in clientele. If you go were the customers are "roughnecks" from the local oilfield things can get rowdy. On the otherhand the ones in the financial disrtict are prinarily a danger to your finances.
Toby has a,ton of great songs….thats funny. I have been to some honky Tonks. Absolutely not. You would not have to worry the chicken wire is funny. Everything is over….played for dramatic purposes. Not at all. You’d be much safer in a country bar and a no crime town any day.
Don't be afraid. Most American Bars are full of love. Everybody is there for a reason, everybody understands that, and most people are civil, and if there is a problem, usually somebody will stand up for you.
Just don't cheat :)
Thanks for the reaction. You want to check out As Good as I once was. Toby Keith was a great story teller and his videos are well done. 😊

Great rabbit hole. A couple would be," how do you like me now, " and " I want to talk about me"
I hope you enjoy it, just a fun song 😂 The other day when you reacted to Aerosmith there was chicken wire around the stage. That’s what made me think of this song. Toby has so many hilarious songs, and patriotic songs also.

I l8ve in Oklahoma, and when Toby died, we lost a real patriot. You should listen to, Courtesy of the Red White and Blue.
RIP TOBY. Toby likes to have fun and all his videos are ornery, but he’s also made some pretty good serious songs too

Good Song! ❤❤
You are safe in a regular bar. And the bikers are your bestie if you are a good person. We have many pubs as well.
Next listen to Toby Keith's "As Good As I Once Was". Very funny.
The people that get into fights usually have it coming. The local bars that I go to everybody knows me and will have my back and I theirs.
There is a rabbit hole you can go down. He has many very humorous songs and a few very serious songs.
Love you all!

Try curtisy of the red white and blue
Paul revere & raiders - just like me
You should do “(If You’re Not in It for Love) I’m Outta Here!” By Shania Twain
If, at the end of the night, there isn't an equal amount of blood and beer on the floor--then it isn't a country bar.
RIP Toby Keith
Now do Red Solo Cup and Trailer hood to see his funny side.
you would be treated like a queen we protect our ladies in the USA.
I truly feel sorry for anyone that was not raised listening to country music like this.
How do you like me now I'm as good as once Iwas
