There's a great responsibility in teaching others. Careless teachers hinder the progress of students. If they are not sure about the topic being taught, they need to do thorough research before the presentation. Thank you for doing the right thing! You're the best!
"I feel myself" comes from Russian and Ukrainian. Many of these teachers are just speaking their own languages with English words. They have limited experience with correct English Edit; which is why many learners who are technically B1/B2 claim not to understand natives. Because they haven't learnt native English, like collocations, phrasal verbs, connected speech, correct word stress etc.
It's why I watch any video in English(from a native speaker) and write phrases to Notepad (application). After that I create a second text file with Russian translations of those phrases and try to automatically translate them to English. For ex.: На русском(On Russian) = In Russian, the same with "on russian language" will be "in the Russian language". I open those files regularly within some weeks to make those correct phrasing skills automatic and quick. The last one today there was "we have to cower what does eating or cooking healthy food even mean"

As a nonnative speaker/student of English, I highly respect your work and efforts to correct the mistakes that other RUclips (usually nonnative) teachers make. You work very hard and always make sure that we use correct English. I like your videos very much. I also believe (thinking about my own learning English) that becoming a better English speaker is partly about using correct English as often as we can…however, as a nonnative student I also believe that a ’maximalist’ approach i.e. you’re always supposed to use only 100% correct English might be frightening, contraproductive but at least sometimes disheartening for a nonnative student (the constant fear of making a mistake and also the lack of positive feedback) so in some ways a little bit more lenient approach would be more motivating for a student of English. Yes, mistakes are mistakes… but when you’re in the process of learning anything, you will make mistakes, no matter what. Mentioning Vanessa (who's helped millions to learn English with her content as an American born teacher) for example in a negative context will not help students of English I think. Again, I like what you’re doing and you’re doing the grammar & correcting incorrect English videos very well and students of English should watch your channel, but I believe that succesful communication comes first and mistakes (and grammar) come second, so emphasis (in my view) should be on fearless communication and not so much on 100% correct English.
I agree with you when it concerns communicating and studying a foreign language, but not when we're talking about teaching others, there's a difference)
I think it would be more natural to say "I am learning a lot!" And I would suggest to always write well because bad habits are quite difficul to get rid of. So it is "thanks."
I'm an ESL student; I was able to notice most of the mistakes here. It amazes me how influencers can teach the wrong things with so much confidence. I mean, I make a lot of mistakes with grammar and pronunciation when I speak too but representing oneself as an authority figure as a teacher and asserting incorrect knowledge is not the same thing.
Hey, Kevin and Lisa! A big shout-out to you from a partly sunny and muggy São Paulo, Brazil. One of the reasons that I truly enjoy your video lessons is because you help us, non-native English speakers, (to) become aware of what sounds natural and is grammatically correct in American English. Please keep it up, and I hope you have a fantastic day and enjoy the remainder of your week. Best.
As usual, Kevin....GREAT, GREAT JOB!!!! You and Lisa are the VERY BEST English teachers on the Web. Thanks for showing us the big mistakes other careless teachers commit even though Vanessa is a native English speaker.
Hi Kevin! Thank you for your videos. Teaching isn’t easy. So I salute all the teachers out there who dedicate their time and effort to teaching English everywhere around the world. And I appreciate your work, Kevin. Thanks again and have a lovely day!♥️♥️♥️👍👍👍

You guys are amazing! Most of popular "teachers" are not native speakers and make silly mistakes that a native speaker will spot easily. The only teacher I've seen in the beginning of the video is Lucy, in my opinion. She is a good teacher and a native speaker, isn't she?
@@ClaudemirMartins thanks, let me see who she is :) I don't know everyone of them. Btw, I haven't watched the whole video but did they mention Lucy in the video at all?
I know some teachers teach really well. Preferably, Bob the Canadian is my favourite teacher for learning phrasal verbs(also he gave real life contexts) And English with Lucy provides learning resources of portable file documents as well as her native English accent
What's crazier is that they have the chance to edit their videos and what's wrong on them, but they don't even check 'em. I'm not a native speaker but I can spot these mistakes from miles away. An amazing video as always, Kevin. You're the best, guys!
Truth be told, lots of natives make grammar mistakes he could point out to as well. The point of the video is rather making it clear non natives shouldn't put out English learning material.
Yes, that's right. I really think that Hadar is a fantastic teacher. Even though she occasionally makes mistakes, just like all non-natives, what a surprise!
Kevin and Lisa always go the extra mile to get the corrections across to us easily. They are the best teachers hands down. They do not need to be on the list of "Best Teachers" because we know their teaching capabilities.
I love your videos! Thank you for correcting the English mistakes of other RUclipsrs whose content is supposed to educate rather than mislead. You’re a true champion of proper English, advocating for accurate language instruction. Way to go!
Thank you ! At last someone started to talk about mistakes of irresponsible teachers. They don’t have any right to teach, if they still didn’t learn the language. It’s unacceptable. Thanks again for your work
You are brilliant teachers. You describe such things, with such a deep explanation, most of errors, I've not even thought about, but I do them. Regurlaly. The reason - we try to translate from our native languages, and as a consequence do it in a wrong way. And you are the only chanel that highlihts mistakes, very common mistakes, in such a clear way. (I stopped using 'so' before nouns, huge thanks, now even for me it doesn't sound natural!:)
Overall online English channels are related to beauty, women, fashion and a little bit of English knowledge. Not to mention likes, ads and selling products.
The thing is that for a non-native English speaker to speak very good English and not to make mistakes is really difficult. Another thing is you don't teach English if you can't speak correctly. 😅
How ?Why most teachers can teach effectively, but they can't speak fluently? Why major native speaker speak fluently, but they can't teach so much ? Sometimes Speaking,& teaching inversely correlated for most us.Think about it.
From my point of view; if someone doesn't have extensive knowledge of a certain area, well, that someone shouldn't even think about teaching that area 'cause they're not gonna teach it correctly and that includes "languages".
"I'm hungry but I still need to eat more"
I guess she actually was trying to say:
"I'm full, but somehow I still want to eat more"
