Hi Seri! I had this problem with the tack too in the beginning! I'll tell you how to see the horse without its riding gear! *At the top right of the customization menu, you'll see a Saddle and a Sun Icon! Click the SUN icon to view your horse's non riding gear outfit.* Which is usually no clothing, if there is clothing you can NOW take it off, only under the Sun Icon menu. Riding gear must always be riding gear. Hope this helps you! I like the Mint Chocolate Chip horse you ended up making at 10:20, it's really cute!

Awesome video!!! Also I was able to make a Zebra in the Sims 4, so fun fact: Zebras are Horses that are Black with White Stripes, the fur of the Zebra is sometimes White and sometimes Black, but when you sheer all the fur off of a Zebra, it is completely Black

I would like to see you do this challenge more times where you actually do the coat customizations, like painting on your animals, and seeing what the game does with genetic pairings there. I played around with it a long time ago, when I had the game installed, and from what I remember, it worked quite well with the dogs!
For the genetic series I would love to see a friesian and deer! They’re my fav animals or maybe a Friesian and sheep or Friesian and cat would be creepy but cool! Anyways though I really love your content, keep it up!
I think the problem is they only made one coat pattern per breed and didn’t make more to be recessive. Your custom horse also didn’t keep the recessive pattern. A little sad about the horse genetics. Might be cool once we get cool dragon, and moose, and elephant, etc. CC and you can then role the dice for funky creatures and more variety. I hope Kalino makes us that dragon pattern for horses oh so bad.
I dont think the sims 4 has recessive genetics, could be wrong tho! As far as I know the offspring gets either from the parent, grandparents/recessive genetics dont play a role in the sims 4
@@raven9758 they sort of do with dogs. Basically the other coat patterns of your dog base prior to editing the dog can show up again. That is why in labarkatory a tiger can produce something weird like a lab or whatever it was they used as a base to make the tiger.

This series never fails to make me laugh. This pack is so cool, I'm so glad they added it! Also, I would love to recommend some warrior cat spin-off mixes! First, Leopardstar and Sasha. I would love to see the two cats adopt kits! Second, Leafpool and Cody. Third, Cinderpelt and Littlecloud. Fourth, Dovewing and Bumblestripe. (Not really a ship of mine, I'm just interested to see what it would be like if Bumblestripe and Dovewing got back together and had kits.) Fifth, Raggedstar and Foxheart. (Again, not really a ship of mine, just interested.) I also want to suggest a laBARKatory mix! I would absolutely love to see a clouded leopard and a black panther breed cubs! ❤

When custom content becomes available for the horses, can you please make an Alicorn (unicorn with feather wings) and a Hippogryph, the half horse one? Imagine like a beaked Alicorn, or like a bright pink and blue horned hippogryph?! Talk about fun genetics! 😊
innerly praying that some modders will make a mod which allows for custom coats for foals that combines both parents genes and patterns. i h a t e how they copy either the mare or the stally entirely. sims 3 was so much better with that.
I bred many times and all the times i get a copy of either the father or the mother, except one timr the foal took the color of its mane from the father and the rest from the mother.. so it seems to be possible but very rare

I am extremely dissapointed in the creators of The Sims 4. Palomino is NOT a breed of horse! It is a COLOUR that is found in so many different breeds. For example; welsh pony, icelandic, connemara, akhal Teke, marwari, and so many more!
How to pronounce some of the breeds I remember you didn’t pronounce right (hope this helps-): akhal teke (AK HEL -TEHK EE) Lipizzaner (LIP IZ ON ER) Andalusian(AND A LOOSE E IN) Trakhaner (TRAK HAN HER) There’s just a few for now I will edit this soon enough- I skipped garlander thingy since idk how to pronounce it myself :3 and I may spell a LOT wrong lol

0:20 I've found a horse that looks exactly like that in totk, it had the same light blonde mane and brown spots.

Morning Moon looks like a horse I used to ride😢. Her name was Sallowmar and she was a Arabian. Seri that coat color/ pattern is called flea- bitten.
The coat she has on Morning Moon is actually called a Leopard Appaloosa, flea bittens have more, smaller markings
