    Eso no debe ir soldado con estaño,se derretirá al calentar ,puede ir soldado con soldadora de punto o atornillada.

    Clever usage of glow plugs 👏

    how will you know that the battery is discharged? I don't think there is any undervoltage protection here.

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  Год назад +4

      You are right, there is no low voltage protection. But the goal was to make a portable cheap soldering iron from scrap materials for small jobs.
      After about 10 minutes of work, you can let it charge for the next time🙂

    I am working on something similar. Just starting to realize that all glow plugs are not the same operating voltage. Can you tell me the specs on the glow plug you used, please? I do not want to use 12 volts as is standard on these glow plug hacks. BTW: there are alot of glow plug soldering iron hacks out there - yours is by far the best.

    • @ErCanEverything
      @ErCanEverything  Год назад +1

      It's an 11.5V glow plug and it maintains a very good temperature at 4V but the battery must have a 15A minimum discharge current because it initially starts at 12A and drops to 5A.🙏🙂🤝🤝🤝

    Could you tell me the model of glow plug you used? I can find several models but the tips that those models have are of a size that does not fit the tips as well.

    • @ErCanEverything

      Bosch 0250 202 045
      I also had a problem with the first tip, but the second one I drilled it a little more carefully and it worked.

      It works. He's not saying it will work for hours on one charge, just that it will work for a quick job. This would be handy on a job where there might be soldering and you are sure there is no available place to plug in for power.
      Very portable, not very long life.

    drill into your fingers with ease.
    And why not use some tape beween je bench vise, so you not make our work look all scratch up?
