Not gonna lie. For some reason, if they were prepared to look for Sasquatch, I don’t believe they would die from exposure. The thought of that just made the back of my hairs stand up.
actually on a lot of the shows or podcasts or youtube channels about bigfoot hunting; they are actually that unprepared. not all of them. There are some seriously kitted up shows; but on a lot of them... They go somewhere , get out of the vehicle, wander a few hours while talking about other people's bigfoot stories or whatever, pointing out dubious "sign" of various and usually low levels of probability and then head back to the vehicle with nothing remotely bigfooty having been observed. They carry little actual wilderness/survival/camp gear and pack mostly recording gear and "hunting" gear. By the nature of these shows they are forced to have a backpack (for batteries and camera gear and various squatch hunting gear) and rain gear and lights of some sort. and that's about it. That's all you need to squatch hunt for content. and that's all some of them take. Not a thought about what happens if i can't go home tonight?
No excuses. With tech, satellites, watches and phones able to track and connect with services even w/o cell coverage, no excuses. And from exposure? You almost have to go out of your way to die doing this stupid Big Foot search. Jeez, how dumb are you?
I would guess they were only planning a day trip since it was Christmas eve. so they probably did not plan on over-nighting and probably were ill prepared with no emergency gear and no changes of clothing. then they got wet, got lost and went hypothermic by pushing their attempts to get back to the vehicles while wet and not doing the sane thing and stopping and making shelter and fire. Hypothermia further eliminated their ability to analyze and make decisions. On a lot of these shows you see the bigfoot hunters treating these things like a day hike. I mean a day hike with no contingency gear; not even a tarp or change of socks. On a lot of them it seems they go to a location, get out of the vehicles, wander around for a few hours, call it a day and head back to the vehicles. only gear carried (other than cheap rain gear) is a pack full of camera batteries, lights, and gadgets allegedly able to detect paranormal signatures and so forth and maybe some snacks and a water bottle.
Little to no information is getting to be a pretty annoying habbit of main stream media. Give us some damn facts about what happened maybe? How cold was it? What was found alongside them? Any tracks? Could big foot be involved?? I mean wheres your professionalism???

My message was about solidarity-a wish to offer comfort to those in pain. The act of caring for others, especially in moments of loss, is something that transcends self-interest. If offering support and expressing empathy makes subject of unkind accusation, then I would submit to such nonsense if it meant that I provide kindness to someone else. I would encourage us all to focus more on fostering compassion than on tearing others down.
@@fjb4932 It was a simple expression of empathy and support. It’s truly unfortunate when someone tries to turn a compassionate comment into something it was never intended to be. People who have lost loved ones deserve kindness, and despite great distances, civilized individuals show empathy and community spirit - this is how humanity connects and shows respect for one another, especially during times of grief.

I think Squatch is smart enough to make their deaths look like “exposure “ …. unless of course they were torn limb from limb and the folks are covering it up
Saquatch are extinct, though. They went after the unicorns they fed on died out.
@ There’s no way because the Lochness Monster ate them before Squatch could … Plus its the Leprechauns that’s helping with covering up Squatch going extinct
Ever since that nearly fateful day my dingy capsized in Loch Ness and I narrowly escaped drowning, I quit my hobby as a cryptozoologist and took up stamp collecting.
The Sasquatch killed them!
Reminds me of the Flat-Earther who blew himself up in a homemade rocket to try and get proof the Earth was flat.
Lame !
And the guy that attached balloons to his lawn chair.
@@agreetodisagree4751 Yeah, but he didn't die.
Sasquatch doesn’t want to be found.
Moral: Never take two to hunt for Bigfoot….take three.
They apparently discovered the mystery over finding Sasquatch and took it their graves.
Sasquatch generally makes a cameo appearance wherever a cluster of Elvis sightings is reported.
How do you get lost in Gifford Pinchot? There’s either a mountain or a road if you keep walking.
It's a huge forest, I am assuming it was foggy and they probably weren't far from their vehicles.
Apparently they Found Him
Nice 👍🏼
@threeten310 Why would it be a him? Might be a her. Patty has questions.
@@ducewags
ya know I was jus thinking that ..
Hmm . . I'll give that some more
Considerable thought
This is why you never go looking. It'll find you and make you regret it.
Nature is relentless ! You better plan ahead and and have the right equipment ! It can get ugly really fast !
Once you're wet, cold, and clueless about survival, you're toast. Mother Nature does not suffer fools lightly.
I would think Sasquatch would be the main suspect they found out why he lives alone in the woods
Let me guess. Now the Sasquatch has been announced as the main suspect....
😞 rest in peace outdoor explorers, hikers, or just anyone who loves nature. You will be missed no one can imagine what pain these two went thru. Hope their families can recover from such horrible circumstances.
how? Like…did they get out of their car in t shirts and wander around for hours, or did they get lost? Very sad but this is odd. In 2024 there is no reason to have such a tragedy.
I suspect they were already partying, when this poor decision was made. It's sad on many levels
Really not odd at all. They weren't prepared. Probably got soaked, which led to hypothermia. All for a mythical creature that nobody will ever be able to prove the existence of.
Was this whole "Looking for Sasquatch" idea inspired by alcohol?
@traildoggy Isn't recreational marijuana legal up there ?
careful what you look for, the sasquatch got em
Two more members of The Club of No Return
Killed by Sasquatch no doubt.
This isn’t the dumbest holiday related death I’ve seen. That crown is taken by the guy who placed a firecracker on his head for the Fourth of July. Like how hard is it to just spend the holidays with your family and CHILL 🤦🏾♀️
They died from exposure to Sasquatch?
@@mattbliven5345 that’s what I thought when I read the headline. The media just care about headlines and don’t care to ridicule the family. How does the media know that they went out searching for big foot.
I don't leave the porch without 2 ways to make fire and a pistol. WTF are these guys thinking? Darwin takes yet another victim.
It's tragic that two people died in the forest on Christmas Eve, yet even more tragic that they didn't get any blurry pictures of Bigfoot!!!
To my family and friends, if I ever go searching for a Sasquatch and die, no I wasn’t. Ya got it?! Unless I’ve been torn to shreds by an unknown animal, don’t mention the Sasquatch part to the media! I was camping, okay?
I bet they found one and he chased them so far into the woods they died of exposure.
Darwin Award winners!
Minor award but still in running for the big one😅!stupid way to die!
They found sasquatch and were eliminated because there it can not be evidence.
Dang this is sad. It also proves that Sasquatch does exists.
Were they planning on bringing it home to put under the tree🤷🏾♂️🤔🙏🏾
Bigfoot: You got a lot of nerves coming here! I'm just trying to do my job! Get that camera out of my face!
Exposure to broken necks.
Gifford Pinchot national forest is notorious sasquatch country
You're from Algeria?
Was there any sign of Sasquatch? And were the man found with a camera with real grainy pictures of what could be Sasquatch?
Go looking Bigfoot
Or
Stay inside where its warm and eat Turkey and open gifts.
It's kind of a no brainer.
Baby please make me another crown on the rocks.
Thats exactly what I would expect them to say.
When will people stop looking for a fake critter, Now two fellas are dead looking for a damn lie. My prayers for there families.
When people stop looking for God.
This is very sad
I agree. Two idiots not only putting SAR teams at risk but also attempting to violate Sasquatch’s right to privacy.
Unbeknownst to those 2 men, Sasquatch set out that day looking for dinner.
On drugs?!?
Now the big question: how much paper did they eat before they spontaneously conjured up this plan?
Vitamin A
Like they say on the internet,.......eff around and find out.
I guess Sasquatch didn't want to be found! 🙂
No excuses. With tech, satellites, watches and phones able to track and connect with services even w/o cell coverage, no excuses. And from exposure?
You almost have to go out of your way to die doing this stupid Big Foot search. Jeez, how dumb are you?
Yeah going out with no phone?? . Probably on drugs.
They left out the suspect left a 3 foot footprint🦶
Sounds like they found him 😊
Some people need to stay out of the woods.
Little to no information is getting to be a pretty annoying habbit of main stream media. Give us some damn facts about what happened maybe? How cold was it? What was found alongside them? Any tracks? Could big foot be involved?? I mean wheres your professionalism???
💯 exactly. MSM needs to remember how to do their jobs
"Play stupid games, win stupid prizes."
A Darwin Award would be appropriate here.
Are we sure they weren't found by Sasquatch?
Oh, no!!! I’m so sorry for the families - what a tremendous loss!
Best headline ever
I thought everyone understood that Sasquatchi (plural form) will do *_anything and everything_* to protect their secret. Why do you think they've never been found ?!?!?
