- Today we started our family vacation at home, drove 4 or 5 hours total to the Mackinac Bridge where Faith decided she wanted to drive across the bridge. A couple more stops and we were getting on the ferry to Drummond Island where we camped for the night!

We are doing a 9 day UP trip. And we are basically following same timeline. Lighthouse and waterfalls chasers. So lucky I found you. Planned the trip out already but we leave next week!

Thanks for sharing! We just left the end of July. It was a bit cool most of the time we were there. Of course that is in comparison to TX! Can't wait to see the Soo. Those are our stomping grounds.

We stayed in Castle Rock campground when we went to the U.P. about 10 years ago. Went a lot of places. Did you guys visit Oswald’s bear ranch?
Oh man we did not. That should have been on our list. I guess we will have to head back up there :)
