I have a quiver or Evo SLS for the wife. And quiver of Neo (D/Lab, SLS combo) for my wave riding. EVOs don't have the sheet in to go power, you have to fly it to generate the power. And that can be tricky pulling you off the board. NEOs drift better and has that pull in the bar for quick power and dump power ability.

You’re right Rygo. Light and responsive. I ride the 13M on twin tip in Midwest gusty conditions and I find it super forgiving especially on the high end of the gust. Great kite

I have the 2021 evo sls 10,8,7 and have been using evos since 2018 in waves and foiling. The sls variant is without a doubt a faster turning kite as it flys faster through the window. This is especially true when the kite gets powered up. A one click depowered sls kite is faster turning and this is not the case with the non sls. The light weight helps on drift and on the upstroke but I think it is the stiffness, bridle, and the slight reduction in the leading edge diameter that contributes to the quickness and the very good upwind ability. I have a new 2022 regular evo 6m and that kite has a really good feel to it. I’d be curious to see how the new evos matchup against the same size sls.

Thinking about getting an EVO SLS for foiling, thus, I'm also interested to see how this kite performs while drifting because going upwind it's already good due to its aspect ratio.

Hey Rygo, have u tried it with a low v ? I heard it improves its turning. Also can’t wait to watch your evo sls test with twintip. All your videos are awesome thank u !!

The low V setting will make a more direct feel and predictable turning. The higher V will make the turns easier to initiate. I tend to prefer the low V on most models.
