thanks a lot i've got a karting competition this saturday and my big problem was the quali pace rather than the race pace and i had problems with braking 1000thanks
It to increase the speed of the wheel spin. Rental carts have very low power when the RPMs are low. By jumping up you try to lift the rear wheels off the track so they can speed up. I have tried this myself, but after seeing an employee executing it, I now know that your really have to commit to it. Make a big jump so the rear wheel can actually lift of the tarmac a little, allowing the wheels to spin free for a little period of time.
Thanks for this, I’ve been doing good in karting recently but my lap times are a lot slower than some other people, before I watched this video I already knew the racing line, but I was struggling with carrying lots of speed, after this video, I learnt how to carry more speed through corners. Thanks!
Hey bro ktips u r really improving my basics as this is my first year of rental karting I ve come a long way but I have a special request if u can manage it the angry birds gokarting track guide and a heavy weight vs lightweight on that track because I think I’m losing a lot of time in the uphill sections because of my 78 kilo weight. But love the vids man , also u r qatars first winner in a f4 race massive congrats on that
As it’s a really fast flowing track specially sector 1 I m trying to have the best average speed through the downhill corner and running it wide after the first hairpin then I’m struggling to climb back up leaving around a second loss also in the last hairpin
Hey Syed! Thank you for your feedback. Sure, let me check out the DFC track again. The first time I went, they insisted that they can't give full speed for safety reasons. Btw, send me a message on @qatar_karting on Instagram. Would love you to join the Karting Community and for you to join our races!
@@kartingtips sounds good but i m sorry i cant join on instagram my parents actually dont allow me to use ig but its a privilege to get invited to qatar karting community sorry for the late reply i was busy with studies .
This is good advice. Tho breaking early risks getting rear-ended when rental karting with randoms. I still struggle with sometimes violent hopping in some corners.. probably my corner entry is too fast and/or I'm breaking at the wrong moment.
Well, you need to aim for a very late apex, to maximize your exit speed. Depending on the lay-out, you might use two apex points, or have wider line, slowly moving toward the late apex.
Thx for the advice @KTips but the main problem is that my nearest go kart track has a track that’s extremely tight, there’s barely room for two karts side by side. So the outside entry/exit and inside apex are very close together.
Also, this is slightly petrol kart specific. Indoor are mostly electric, generally have instant torque on a tighter, slippery track. The advice of slow-in-fast-out combined with the 5-lap acclimatisation laps is still great advice that will serve you anywhere in rental.
Great question! Personally I'd go for the Alpinestars KMX V2 Karting gloves. You can check out different gloves and equipment on this link: www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/motorsport/racewear-helmets/kartwear/kart-gloves/

I use Sanna Throttle technic (in karting)❤
What about a very small radius corner that tightens at end? Like a hook 🪝 do you have video on that?

Hi ktips I'm the guy from Dayton Milton Keynes when u gave me that card to check out ur channel its really good ty for the advice
Hi mate! Nice to hear from you 😄 I hope to come down to MK next time I'm in the UK!
Yep😁

Yes, works better on outdoor tracks and large indoor tracks

Hey man, do you know any good gloves that are not super expensive?

What about no breaking just let go of the accelerator and turn smoothly it work for me without spawning out or crashing
Funny how you how you fill a google form for that book, do not receive it and get yandex and gravatar registration emails a few hours later
You need to do a track guide for lakeside, that final corner kills me each time
Holy shit you’ve already done one, what a legend
Haha, I was just going to share the link! I hope to visit Lakeside again when I’m in the UK next time. It’s such a fun track to drive 😁
Thanks really helps oh I'm an 11 year old by the way 😮
