    Wow, that looks incredible. It's like a scaled down version of the Flexinnovations Cessna 170. I'd snatch one of these up if I didn't already have a STOL aircraft. Man, everyone needs one of these in their hanger. Great upload!

    Great vid boyz ! I have tbe Big foot & the Special edition Husky , also from Hobby zone / Arrows, both are incredible & the quality is every bit as good as any other Foam airplane , NOW look at the price ,, just can't be beat. I was told Horizon owns the brand , if that's true i hope the continue to bring airplanes like this to us at such a nice price !!

    Did 4s work?

  • @G56AG
    @G56AG 4 года назад +1

    That's about 40 degrees of flaps which would be authentic to a Cessna 150, which had 40 degrees, the 152 was limited to 30 degrees after a few accidents, a 150 cannot climb with 40 degrees. A small number of dummies attempted touch and goes and forgot to raise the flaps from 40 degrees to 10 degrees for the climb, and flew it into the ground, so they limited the flaps to 30 degrees for liability reasons.

    Looks like many other stol, what sets this one apart from say the timber or HobbyKings great little Tundra?

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  5 лет назад

      Great price, parts support, durability, good looks

    • @carrboro_chapelhillfpv2442
      @carrboro_chapelhillfpv2442 5 лет назад

      @@PilotRyanMedia so its a toss up between this and the Tundra then. This is slightly smaller, might help those with smaller fields, and this had lights already installed, however the Tundra will run 4s and can taxi backwards, and has a esc brake

  • @jozef4511
    @jozef4511 4 года назад

    Hello Ryan,
    I am about to start my adventure into the Big Foot... after getting some confidence (I am a veeeeery beginning!! - beginner!) and I just managed to take off, land and control a 3-channel starter Cessna F949. I even installed flaps which made me control it better, and knowing that the Big Foot has flaps... that gives me confidence.
    Now, my main concern and I was wondering if you could give me your input on that is "stabilizers"... The little Cessna F949 has automatic stabilizers... and sometimes when I take that "auto stabilizers" off... I almost always crash! Of course now I am taking a lot of altitude in order to practice... but litte wind and I am out... Now with the flaps is a bit better... but still. So I wanted to know if I am kind of in high danger of crashing this? and if I do... will it be resistant? I know it is not comparable the resistance of the little Cessna to this, but if I crash it, that will be it?
    As well, I am going to get my very fist sender... I am thinking on a DX8 thinking on the following aircrafts...
    Your input will be very highly appreciated!

    What transmitter and battery is best for this? I have a Spektrum GX8 2. I have some 4S 2200's for Timber X. Can I use them?

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  4 года назад

      You can use them you just may need to get an adapter. The Arrows planes have xt60 plugs on the esc.

    • @austntexan
      @austntexan 5 лет назад +2

      It's a scaled down version of a much more expensive plane. The price point is about what E-Flite charges for their tiny UMX line. This is basically the same size as a Fun Cub. You could run full span ailerons on this and it'd fly like a 3D plane.
