Funny little Eastern Screech Owl

I found this little eastern screech owl near Slaughter Beach, Delaware. The video is almost 20 minutes long. I wanted to really show how it would disappear and then gradually get back to feeling completely comfortable in his hole and really show off its camouflage
This is the first video I shot with my Canon 7D Mark II with Canon 800mm lens and a Canon 2x Extender.
Its a little grainy due to the extremely high ISO I was testing on the new Canon 7D Mark II unfortunately... Better quality videos coming really soon!

I played it on my 65" Samsung and DANG, for 800mm x2, that's amazing. What iso?
Awesome!!!! I think it was 16,000 ISO. It was super cloudy and I had only has TV's 7d mark II for about an hour I think. Best way to break a 7D in 😉

There's one of these guys who perches on the roof of my car (ironically, the GoPro clip stuck to the roof makes a perfect perch for these little birbs) and calls out at night. there's also a Great Horned Owl who also hangs out in my backyard and keeps the possum population in check, and has even dive-bombed anyone who isn't me, lol. he only attacks people at night, though, which is probably a good thing.

at 13:18 it fell back to the nest, I bet it's quite tired, can't hold on to the tree
He's so calm because he knows that his camouflage is nearly perfect.
