It's pretty great house with real thought put into both form and function... BUT as a construction worker who has dealt with modern architecture types like THIS, I must detest them for they are not build to last and tend to be designed by architecs who I swear never ever met human being and are just AI. Luckily, Once Human is a game so building things to last and stay comfortable instead of being just nice to view outside isn't implemented feature. Super bonus points for actually doing wirework! That's such a cool thing to do

Nice house, those glass walls/doors the 50$ pack? they look great, this house is perfect for you, i would never have the stardust machine inside my house, mine is outside inside a 2x2 concrete hut with 2 turrents ontop, over water with a gap you have to jump to, mobs don't like water only Crocs go in water. also those grow lamps work best if the wall is 2 walls high they spread like a cone. :)
Thanks so much! Yup they are the glass pack from the store! Yeah I really wanted to put it inside and kind of keep it functional without losing too much form. Also thanks for the tip with the grow lamps, I did know about that and considered going higher but I think it ruins the shape of the house so I chose to double up on lamps to keep the shape. I simply love how compact and practical this base is, while still maintaining great looks. Sadly hard to make modern design to look good without glass pack.
Yup you sure can. I do talk about that in the video. Its a dumb thing I wanted was to be able to use the wiring as a small detail. Like if you see your like "woah" cause its majorily hidden. Plus it was SUPER fun! :) For those that don't wanna worry though just do that, you'll save on so many slots too cause you won't need as many terminals
Question for you: where are you hiding your power and how did you run it to everything from that one column without spider webbing it all over the place! It's a really clean look and I'm struggling to replicate that aspect in my own build!
Hey there, I do show it a little bit in the vid, the solar panels are on the roof. I daisy changed what I could to get the it all on a single line and got that line into the column. From there it was just a matter of taking my time and putting in really clean lines. I’m going to work on a wiring guide today :)

Done finished copying your build :) included a swimming pool too on the side :) just need to find the blueprint for the black floor, black walls and same ceilling you have, and get the same doors as you, and add water tank and arrange all the items inside, thanks for the video, time to find the npcs that sell those blueprints, you happen to remember who from u got them and where?
That’s so awesome!!! The black floor is just the marble flooring, the “final” level in the memetic screen for construction. The grey ceilings I think are part of the glass packs and the wood ceilings are just the premium wood ceilings found in the memetic by the marble foundations:)
I've been scratching my head for hours trying to design a base and came across this, looks incredible. If you don't mind me asking where do you get all the different wall/floor textures, they work really well

That’s fair. I was lucky and it was gifted to me. The snapping is wild!!! I found a few tricks to get around it but def wished it wasn’t as aggressive. Also yes! I’d love to be able to overlap foundations.
Loving the base, used your guide and it all worked for the most part. How did you get the arrows of the portal to show on the outside though? Mine are on the backside now that's only visible from inside, is this something that changed with an update?

@@alexiasciascia5752 so the interior is a grey cement one that I randomly looted. Outside of that I actually used glass from the glass pack, and the light wood+pebbles are from the modern outdoor patio set. Both can be found on the in game store. 🙂
I saw someone else with this exact blueprint on a PvE server, so it didn't have the turrets. But it was exactly this house. Even all the objects are in the same spot. Is there a way to copy other people's blueprints? Because that would make some aspects of base building way easier for me.
what kind of generators did you use for electricity, how many and where did you put them? I replicated your build it's awesome! But struggling with the power and stuff never done that before.
It's really nice looking, but you bought the shop items for the house looks, so you can't rebuild this without those items easily and also it's not really efficent or practical. My base doesn't have the best spot, but i can easily make 200 or 300 + acid per day while not even being online. And it's close to a teleporter and has a much more secure way to defeat waves and protect my property and Vortex cleaning device.
I was gifted the glass pack yup, so I really wanted to make use of it. I built it for me, not for others to 1:1 copy, although they are welcome too. As I said in the video, it can be moved anywhere on the map so location is personal preference, you can drop it in the oil fields, polluted land, or a pretty view. Also I’ve purified a bunch and never had an issue of things attacking me, they just get smoked by turrets. That said to be fair they have been lvl 1-2 purifications. But I imagine with level 3 turrets I still have nothing to worry about. I’m really glad you’re having fun, chasing meta and rushing to the end. I too am having a blast in my own way. 😊
how did you elevate the curved foundations where the turrets are? I'm trying to build a similar design for the turrets but I'm unable to lift the foundations
I used the half stairs to go up “half a foundation. Snapped a full foundation to that, then used the small foundation to bring it back flush with lower foundations. Then snapped a big foundation where I wanted it to snap to and was then able to place the curved. I hope this helps
To tho sho don't know, Press B to enter build mode and press L to hide all pipelines and cables. No need for cable management or anything like that to occupy materials.
Yup lvl 3 cortex’s 40 at once in multiple spots. Worked well for me, that said full disclosure I was shooting mobs aswell and I may have just got good spawns
I did have a question, how is it that you"re able to do the curved floor texture near the garage and how did you snap the little platform onto the back of the foundation?
There are curved floor foundations, I just put them on and then put a print on them. As for the little ledge I built full stairs going down, and then snapped a full foundation to the bottom. This set the height, then I just snapped foundations to that lower one :)
Hello, i built the same base using your tutorial , however i did not use the material skin that makes your house made of glass, and i have a problem in the plantation area, my crops have 10-20% of light and 10 % of irrigation, even though i placed the lights and the irrigation system just like in your videos, can you tell me please what may be the problem, thank you

Ahh the half level snap. So I'll demonstrate this later in my build tutorial video. I'm actually recording it right now. But I'll try words it the best I can. Use the half stairs and snap a full foundation to that then use mini foundations to put a snapping point where you want it. :) Hope this helps.

You have to set the lights to the appropriate level. You can do this by walking up and pressing F 🙂

@@st3lvy I’d say use the highest you can afford. :) especially once you find out the spawn points. You can really focus your turrets there. 🙂

I hate the game as soon as someone stronger than me comes and shoots me and reviews me. And keep repeating . Sadly i loved the game so much but because of people like this i had to delete it. I work so hard i just wanted to have some fun end of the day and i dont want stress out but i like your house i wish i could build it but no.not gona play it again i know it will happen again . So good luck in the game
Play a PvE server. Then no other players can shoot you. Leaving you only with the good bits
Rust would give you a migraine then. But PVE is great or get some buddies.
