Goodness, the ending credits for A Link to the Past is definitely a diamond in the rough. A spectacular piece that welcomes the hero's return from a long and arduous adventure. Lovely composition.
6:57 that build up for the final battle is awesomeness in it's purest form, it gives me goosebumps every time i hear it, the entire movement is just beautiful, worthy of my favorite video game franchise and one of the best video games series ever crafted.
Basically Link is infomed....you are now alone in a world twisted by ganon full of his minions and you need to battle yourself through to rescue the maidens who are trapped in dungeons full of traps and enemies ready to kill you...and Link just raised his sword and thought to himself....yes i can and will...and go forth into battle.....one my favorite Link moments of all the games.👍💪🏾
I went to the symphony when it was last in OKC (can't remember the specific year) and it was absolutely beautiful. As said in many other comments, the staff roll music (8:29) is probably the most under rated, under heard and under discussed pieces of music in gaming history. Every time I hear it, be it symphonic or the OG version (especially the OG version) I tear up because that's my childhood right there, woven into the beautiful notes that make it up. I hope as time goes on, more people are able to appreciate its beauty, but I doubt few will feel it as deeply in their souls as those who grew up playing LttP.
I spent hundreds of hours playing this game as a kid. It still remains one of my all time favorites...and to hear the music that helped shape my childhood orchestrated in such a way is incredible. I got goosebumps at 5:15, and 5:48 brought tears to my eyes. The passion and precision of this orchestra is awe inspiring.
I still remember the first time I beat Agahnim and got to the top of the pyramid, I was around 11 years old (now I am 40). Minute 5:14 give me goosebumps and brings me back to my childhood.
I often for get that Zelda's Lullaby came originally from A Link to the Past. I thought they had forgotten about it when I heard the Ocarina of Time medley. Thankfully I was wrong
Imposible no conmoverse con el final, a partir 8:58, Gracias nintendo. Impossible not be moved with the end, starting 8:58, my childhood go slowly with time. Thanks nintendo.
ok so. ALTTP was my first Zelda game I'd ever seen (after 6 year old me walked into my cousins room, saw Link on the screen and immediately blurted "WHAT GAME IS THAT?!" and begged them to let me watch it whenever they played.) I finally beat the game myself when I was 11, and immediately fell in love with the credits theme. I ended up beating the end over and over again just to hear the credits rolling. Fast forward to the Zelda symphony (I bought my best friend a ticket so she'd join me) and I was thrilled to hear the Link to the Past movement and was enjoying every second of it. The buildup between Dark World and the Ganon battle is So god tier; I got so caught up in how much fun the music was and had such a huge smile on my face that when the music suddenly slowed and the credits started playing, my face dropped and I suddenly remembered the theme. 1) it's not fair they catch you off guard like that since the triforce theme and the ending theme play before the credits >:( and 2) I'm so glad they did because it was Perfect. I'm honestly almost sorry I dragged my friend along because I was quite literally sobbing into my backpack. All in all though, an amazing experience that I wish I could relive over and over again. But it does definitely make me cry without fail. 😂 Thank you so much for uploading this for us to enjoy! I know I come back to listen to this video a lot, so a deepest thanks to you!
I forget how much this game opened my eyes as a kid. Easily one of the most memorable experiences of my entire life and so much of it is because of this music... What an amazingly epic, beautiful, nostalgic, bittersweet, perfect performance.😭
the triforce chamber kills me i love it so much, those violins and the brass aaahhh this is probably one the best performances ive heard of this movement, the ganon boss fight especially, and ive been to the atlanta concert every year.
I went to see this with my husband last August in Des Moines. It was so freaking awesome! For Des Moines, there were quite a few people there to my amazement! I’d estimate 300-500 people showed up!
I see them live this June 2016 in Hollywood and I will be forever grateful if they played anything from the original Legend of Zelda or Link to the Past as those two titles are my most favorite of the entire Zelda series. Those are the titles I was consumed by when I was in my most innocent years and I will cry like a grown man should when those sweet melodies enter my ears and lock themselves away in my heart.
They will play the A Link to The Past movment in their 2016 concert (it's the last one they do) ! If you go on their website, they have the program of the show so it tells you all the pieces they'll play! Enjoy your show!

Seeing this makes me want to be able to win or earn an experience of me playing a single player game such as ALttP in front of a massive crowd and an orchestra flawlessly doing all of the music from my playthrough.
I was there for the Philadelphia show for both the first and second run of the tour, and each time it kills me. Eimear Noone is a Goddess and one of my real-life heroes. This movement pierces my heart every single time I hear it. I've since seen many performances and the original one I saw in Philadelphia remains the purest and favorite for me. I might start crying again.
Best part of the whole concert. It makes me feel many different things in just a few minutes. And of course it always makes me cry. Watching this live is pure magic. Don't doubt to go if you get the chance.
WOW!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Just had a minute (someone shared it on FB) & I will share it on my Zeeva International Page & groups & will come back to listen to MORE!!!! Wonderful & THANKS!
Remember seeing this live in Minneapolis. 4 movements- link to the last, links awakening, ocarina of time, and twilight princess, if u remember correctly. Was a good time.
I remember playing this- I would beat a dungeon and then when I was done I saved it only to find out that the data didn’t save and I have to beat the dungeon all over again. Damned bouncy worm boss
considering the chronology, it’s the Dark World theme in Midna’s theme, but it’s leitmotifs like that that make gaming some of the best music in the world
who the hell did this arrangement? why is the bloody overworld theme lost in translation and only chalk in at the end of the entire thing? do you mean to say Link skipped through the entire present and just focusing on the past?
A Link to the Past credits theme is without a doubt one of the most underappreciated songs in gaming.
Absolutely. I think it may be my favorite from the entire series.
never been bettered
It’s one of my absolute favorite!
The whole sequence from talking with the Triforce to the montage to the actual credits are unmatched.
Closest that comes to it is Chrono Trigger.
You sir, are a Zelda music fan. This is at least the second time I've seen your comments on a Zelda music video.
9:58 Yep... I'm bawling. Happy 30th birthday, Zelda!
+Prescilla Garland When they play that part at the concert, you could hear a pin drop. It also got the loudest applause.
Goodness, the ending credits for A Link to the Past is definitely a diamond in the rough. A spectacular piece that welcomes the hero's return from a long and arduous adventure. Lovely composition.
*diamond in the diamonds
i cry in the end of this movement, so beautiful.
Me too!!! ;___; it's so amazing and touching... *Tears*
The End Credits from A Link to the Past may be my single favorite piece in the entire franchise.
Triforce Chamber really kills me. Its so goddamn beautiful

5:30 - 6:00 was the best part of the whole symphony
I see you are a man of culture as well
@@benoni83 hehe a woman of culture ;)
I got triple chills at that section. The Dark World!
The dark world theme is one of my favorite stage music of all time...
8:28...some of my favorite music, ever. So soothing.
The chills, holy crap it's soo good

Oh man, that Dark World theme is still so good no matter how many times I've heard it. It gives me chills.
La canción de los créditos es absolutamente una obra maestra

5:47 Goosebumps!
Video and Music are in sync and the little pause gives a very climactic feeling to it.
Damn right!!
The Hyrule Castle part gave me so many goosebumps!!!!!!! The nostalgia is real right now.

The "staff roll" is WOW!
completed this game today... ending score almost moved me to tears. ironically heard this version first, last year... so beautiful.
That 8:29 on-wards gets me every-time.

It was epic, sorry about the late reply. It was such an amazing experience. I want to go again.
10:11 BLESS
I got to see this live in Atlanta and oh my god was it amazing. A recording just doesn't do it justice.
Seeing this makes me want to be able to win or earn an experience of me playing a single player game such as ALttP in front of a massive crowd and an orchestra flawlessly doing all of the music from my playthrough.
The final boss theme was one of the greatest things I've ever heard
I was there for the Philadelphia show for both the first and second run of the tour, and each time it kills me. Eimear Noone is a Goddess and one of my real-life heroes. 9:57 ultimate try not to cry challenge
my first zelda :'(
I love a link to the past!!!
I know it's been up for a while. But thanks for uploading, this is fantastic.
I went to the Symphony this year. It's awesome to see that the composer is still the same. She's so awesome...
Best part of the whole concert. It makes me feel many different things in just a few minutes. And of course it always makes me cry. Watching this live is pure magic. Don't doubt to go if you get the chance.
I love that this is on RUclips, but if you can, go to the symphony.
WOW!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Just had a minute (someone shared it on FB) & I will share it on my Zeeva International Page & groups & will come back to listen to MORE!!!! Wonderful & THANKS!
Dark world theme ( Epic ) wow
This is perhaps the most adventurous
Wow. That castle theme is amazing.

I*
5:20 i think this part is really good !!! dark world song !!
When I heard that part live, I got crazy goosebumps. It's so good!
I agree this movement is the best
I want a CD with the credits from a link to the past with this orchestra.
Who is it that has gone to see this that doesn't want such a CD?
I remember playing this- I would beat a dungeon and then when I was done I saved it only to find out that the data didn’t save and I have to beat the dungeon all over again. Damned bouncy worm boss
love the ending theme
thank you for this.

10:40 A link to the past 😥
Wonderful !
Sublime
This is awesome :D
Ugh why did someone have to clear their throat at the beginning of the video. TT
Vídeo game’ s mozart : koji kondo
8:58 ;_;
Could you be a great soul and please inform me to what song that is? I'm so curious and its so beautiful. Thanks so much!
Ivan Atli Muchiutti!!! i don't know :C i just love it in this concert but i don't know the name of this song u_u sorry
Ivan Atli Muchiutti!!! It's the ending to ALTTP, as you can see on the display.
it's the staff roll theme for a link to the past
2:55 - Sounds like Skyward Sword's Zelda's Lullaby.
Also, does anybody notice Midna's theme in the Dark World theme, or is it just me?
considering the chronology, it’s the Dark World theme in Midna’s theme, but it’s leitmotifs like that that make gaming some of the best music in the world
Some OoT made its way into ALttP it seems.
No Hidden Mountain and Forest? I am disappoint.
The movement is otherwise awesome, especially the (full!) Hyrule castle music.
I know this is a really old comment but it’s at 6:38
@@sasook ik this is a very old comment but tysm for telling him
a link to the past is due for a remake so long ago
Is that Eimear Noone?
That was supposed to be the Triforce Chamber music? It sounded absolutely nothing like it whatsoever.
Wdym
I'm here for 8.30 onwards...
how can I find the song at 1:40 on its own?
It's just a small section of the Hyrule Castle theme
great performance, but not a fan of the copy and paste they did with some of the parts.
who the hell did this arrangement? why is the bloody overworld theme lost in translation and only chalk in at the end of the entire thing? do you mean to say Link skipped through the entire present and just focusing on the past?
Pacing I guess
