Great video, Kirby. Personally, as someone who started working on Wall St right after college, I gravitated towards pinstripes early on and really like the look. Hope you enjoy this new addition to your wardrobe.
Excellent video to finish out this suit series, I learned many important areas I never considered when having a suit fitted MTO or custom made. Hey Kirby! Happy New Year! Thanks so much for the great content in 2019, and as always for providing the finest shoe care products I've ever used. I look forward to seeing what's in store for 2020. Now, others have mentioned, so I'll simply concur. This is definitely a fabulous looking outfit on you. You're right, they nailed it for you. It's so wonderful to watch your journey through style, and developing your own. As are many of your followers, seeing this final product I am shocked that you've shied away from pinstripes and bolder patterns. I truly hope that you see what all of us in RUclips land see, you look great. As I always do myself, just ask your wife! This is a fantastic New Year's video, I look forward to being part of your style journey in 2020. Thanks again for your dedication to offering quality products with quality content. Happy New Year!
I rewatched this video. I love your enthusiasm! Like a kid on Christmas morning! Are the suit pants cuffed? I agree with you, the consultation is the most valuable part. I bought some handmade shirts, but got very little guidance. Looking back I could have benefited from an expert's opinion. Jonathan seems to know his stuff. I am reading one of Alan's books right now and I hear the same thing from Jonathan. Again, great content, thanks for taking us into the best places for men's wear. Looking forward to continuing the journey with you. Cheers! Steve
Dear Kirby, I said it before but it bears repeating. This is the best looking suit I have seen you wear. I think it really fits your style perhaps even elevates it. Bravo! I would like to see what they would do in a Grey. Did you ever do a final fitting with Jensen? I am looking forward to more great content in 2020. Happy New Year!

I really like it. I would’ve never thought of putting a striped shirts with a full striped suit especially a three-piece but I think it looks fantastic. I do pinstriped Trousers with striped shirts all the time. I think it looks fantastic as long as they’re not too similar, so it makes sense here. Honestly, it just looks rockstar.
It's a great choice of fabric and i like the pinstripe. You look more mature and it fit perfectly. I thanks you to introduce to us Alan Flusser made to measure. I plan in the near future to book an appointement with Jonathan Sigmon at 2500$ entry level it's a steal.
I have what I feel is likely a stupid question. When the tailor is doing a second/additional fitting, marking adjustments etc...do they then go back, and essentially take out all of the stitching and put everything back together?
Jonathan's outfit is too informal. Better would have been; dark blue jeans, a collared shirt, a different color shirt, the yellow works against his skin tone. All or some of these changes would have been prefereable. The green colored jacket was selected, I suspect due to the season, since I notice the christmas tree in the background. Jonathan is an amazing talent and a tremendous value to his customers. I would be honored to be a patron of this man's incredible service!
Suit is beautiful. A bit surprised Jonathan did not adjust the suit at your waist. Looks a bit tight when buttoned (too much Thanksgiving turkey, Kirby?). And Jonathan's right shoulder roll at the seam is different from his left. Another fitting, sir?
This chalk-pin stripe is beautiful. I'm very happy the chalk has made a comeback this year. Over in Australia, we call this part-Bespoke; there's about 80% of the process that's custom, but the manufacturing is done out of a factory rather than hand stitched and the final adjustments are made by the tailor/cutter. Did you make an allowance for a wrist watch? The left cuff looked a little tight. The waistcoat lining at back makes the whole look. Such attention to detail. I'm guessing the suit is about USD2200 or so, that similar style is just under USD1800 over here. Worth every penny.
Lots to like about this suit. I can't help thinking that pin stripe suits can really age the wearer - particularly with such a heavy stripe. I wore a similar suit in my late twenties and I look back on the photos and think I looked much older! That's not a good thing.
Hey Kirby what happened to the Sartoria Jensen suit ? Also in the other vid about this suit , the stripe was referred to as a chalk stripe ? errrr here it is called a pin stripe
