Thank you so much! I am so glad it helped. It was one of my first videos on YT. I hope that, on my next trip to KSA, I can maybe chat with more people there (on video). Thanks again for your support!
For me, the KEY issue not about how much money they spend, but rather how the KSA government operates. It needs to make travel easier and open up visa-free travel to the EU, USA etc. As a (non-EU) Brit, I can pretty-much go visa-free, but I still found their government websites difficult to deal with. I heard that many Chinese tourists are now travelling to KSA. I may add a video about this in the future. Of course, I think having nice hotels is crucial too - which I know if something they're working on.
Very Informative video Jon. I am an Indian who recently got a job offer to work in Saudi Arabia. I am getting the same package as what I am getting in India but on top of that they are giving me 5800 riyal per month for my Rent/food/travel expenses. So is it worth it to go there for a job?
@rushud5112 Hi. Hard to say but, generally, I'd expect a salary increase. Otherwise, the allowances will get eaten up by accommodation and travel costs. Your main benefit will be that the earnings are tax free.
@@rushud5112yes my friend 10-12k riyal a month is very respectable salary and would be an amount that is good enough to look after a family of 4 comfortably
Yes there are .My sister has studied biochemistry in the netherlands has worked in dubai for 7 years and has promoted for job in riyadh .You can earn very good money as a scientist but it depends what branch or company

@@welshmaninasia okay thanks. I just mentioned my rent allowances but in total I will be getting around 10-12k SAR per month. Is it good enough?

Very informative video Jon. How is the cybersecurity market in Riyadh? I'm interested in moving from Canada.
I mostly deal with people involved in architecture and construction projects.
I got an offer to work in Riyadh. As a female expat, how about women's and men's interactions in the office? I worry about the rules of segregation.
Is there a way to check if a company is legit? PS: Planning to come to KSA for the first time
How can we connect Jon? I emailed multiple times with no response so far? Still with Archer?
Hi. Taking a break at the moment. Will update Linkedin when things change, probably around September time. Thanks.
I see your head not covered don't you feel the heat in that court ,me too am in riyadh
@@kawonamonica6280 Hi. I did weat a hat quite a lot. Maybe not so much whilst filming. I was also there in April and didn't find the sun too bad. 🙂

I will be living in Rasta Nura with free accomodation and transporation within walking distance. Does my 6k riyals be enough?
Really?
Plenty
Is there scientist jobs for females in Saudi Arabia?
Hi. I usually work with people involved in construction, but I'd guess that KSA is hiring scientists and all kinds of people with niche talents.
@@welshmaninasia Please provide relevant links to look for scientist jobs. Thank you for your response.

@azadam1000 , how about Indian women solo working in banking industry through contract role? Is manageable?
