I'm glad Joel pushed back on that neighbor comment. "If everyone is your neighbor then no one is your neighbor" is one of the dumbest things I've heard in a while

And let it be known that if I rejected truth in favor of lies, I would hate myself. Narcissism gives this verse a very different meaning than well-ordered love.
As well, "neighbor" (to my understanding, especially in the original language) is "nearby". The Samaritan was near to the fallen man. And the fallen man was no threat to him, which is another thing to consider when people try to pull out that parable and that verse to say "we must be totally kind to literally everyone!"

Some comments: Joel, I agree with you that we (Americans) do not have a functional Constitutional Republic. But we (Christians) belong to another Kingdom anyway... only sojourners here... so, it is what it is. I know you want to strive to keep the Republic together but there is no direct scriptural command to do so. So it is all about perspective. It all depends on who the "we" is.

George Washington probably wasn't a Christian, but we do not know his heart. In his vast writings he only refers to God as "Providence", never talks about Christ Jesus. Also, in letters from his priest, we learn that Washington's wife was a devote Anglican. However, when the priest attempted to correct George, in a sermon, for his lack of reverence to kneel during prayer, and declined the Eucharist, George stopped going to Church with his wife. I'm sure Washington's wife was very concerned about that because his actions caused her to question her husband's salvation.
Joel focuses way too much on this world and this country and his children. The Kingdom of God is not the US, the family of God is every believer. Jesus said His Kingdom is not of this world. The things of this world are passing away. Why would your kids need you to pass on money? Pass on a true faith in Jesus and God will care for His just like the sparrows. Almost everything Joel says rings false when compared to the Word.
There is a Christian community in Panama for those drawn to a new country.

I think that the talk that you’re having today on the subject is informative and must needed, but there’s so many things that are being left out when it comes to the culture of this country, the acceptance of foreign exchange students in my opinion without control and left basically unchecked by our federal government has been a mistake World War II, where we took on the best that we could find. It helped us build our technology from that point on, with these people that had communistic mindset that weren’t going to change and adapt into our lifestyle you have to take that into consideration the fact that there have been open borders whether we’ve really seen it like we see it today maybe not as prevalent but California has been the worst and it goes all the way back to the 70s if not earlier Where the Hispanic culture and whoever else went through the Mexican country getting into the Mexican getting into our country through the Mexican border didn’t really care do a simulate. It was all about a better life, but it was a selfish intent effort on their part, not one that wanted to be a simulated into our country, everybody that came from other countries that come into this country, especially if you look at things today it’s an instant gratification. Our federal government has not only encouraged them, but they pay what I would consider the kind of income that I’ve made my career year and year out is a whole Lotta money in an expedient short period of time if they just make it over here and they get Stuff that they don’t have to actually take ownership for like working pretty much till you’re 60 and ready to retire if you play it smart maybe you’ve paid your house off early where these people have enough money that it’s total instant gratification for them and now that’s the way they think and that’s what they expect You’re looking at all sorts of government intervention where they had the NAFTA program and that there was federal guidelines that companies had to hire a certain amount of ethnic group whatever that may be, and after the Hispanic ethnic group hiring. Then it was about bringing in females into jobs that is obvious they can’t qualify for my opinion and they still can’t, help some of the stuff but they can’t carry a 200 pound man out of a burning building down 12 flights of stairs. Women can’t do it but their firefighters no less I’m not picking on one group or orientational group but the list when you go back and the Dubius Intentions by the Europeans of all people when we basically queued them from devastation because of Germany, takeover and World War II comes out of the woodwork gets involved in our politics you got CEO like Zuckerberg spending money this whole thing to his desires of what they are or maybe it’s payback time because he was elevated into the World, and given the opportunity to be the leader and head of it all never really answering any questions give you another one. The IRS was started back in 1941 when Americans pitched in for the war effort and they were willing to let the federal government dip into their paychecks, which was unheard of, and it was not constitutional And it’s never gone away and we’ve never it’s a banking cartel that has seed into not only our country and controlled us and is put a boot on our necks all of our lives generation after generation but it’s a world global thing and they’re still trying to dominate things and have the upper hand and now you’re seeing global wars all over the place I mean I am paraphrasing on a lot of this stuff and it’s just stuff that I know when I’ve seen and I it’s there I don’t even have to sell it. It sells itself. You can look at the history yourself and find it on the fact that these colleges are programming our children to this very day and parents don’t care enough to keep them from going to college or at least a particular college because of the indoctrination efforts that that is obvious, who do we really blame we blame ourselves. It comes down to the family unit. It comes down to the fact you’re right. The bottom line is a godless nation. I could care less that people call themselves Christian. It means nothing all these people you see on Fox News wearing these females wearing these little golden crosses on their neck like yeah I’m the holy person. You can listen to me because I’m gonna tell you the truth about everything because I’m wearing the cross and I represent, the father in heaven because of this little symbol around my neck, that’s all I have but you know if you actually listen to this that I I put down as an added comment if you can take anything away from it that great as another topic to talk about, but We’re not gonna turn this thing around by educating ourselves because there are too many nefarious people out there that have intentionally made these decisions to squashes to kill us to get us out of the way so they could really do the things that they want to do the most without having a conscience Forget about law enforcement and the FBI let me mention them I just a second or of this whole thing like our court system, and our judges are cops out there and police departments coming up with new ways to flee. The innocent traveler honor on the country roadside sitting behind the bushes, waiting to shed blood like it talks about in the Bible, you think things are gonna get better before things get worse that’s all I’ve got
