So I tried this app out a few months ago, and I had no idea how it worked so it was all trial-and-error for me. Needless to say, I “died” at pretty much every opportunity. The first time I “died,” though, I will never forget. I was being chased by one of those dudes and I ran back in the direction I came (bc I didn’t know how else to escape). I ran right into that small cliff I’d came off of earlier, and the man was closing in on me fast. With nowhere to go, I pressed into the cliff as far as I could until with the screenview I could no longer see myself. This is where I detached myself from the game completely, and good thing, too, because when the man grabbed the boy I couldn’t quite see what was happening but with the dim lighting and the way he was moving him forcefully, I honestly thought the boy was being raped. I wasn’t so sure I wanted to continue the game. But I did, and I found out that it was nothing like what I thought (to my immense relief). But yeah. That was my experience with it😅
What are the people that get him doing? The first ones look like they're suffocating him, but later on they're just holding him with his hands behind his back.
Limbo is definitely more brutal than INSIDE, but INSIDE's death have way more weight due to the fact that the player is not just a silhouette of a boy...
Presumably, the taser machines catch you alive too. Inside, death is just a way to keep you moving forward. If they can catch you, they can still use you for something.
If you pay close attention, you’ll notice that they’re actually not *TRYING* to kill the boy, or at least, they’d prefer to capture him alive. Their bullets are tranqs. Whenever they catch him they either pin him to the ground or grab him from behind while covering his mouth, implying that they’re chloroforming him. None of the game over sequences show him being explicitly killed by a soldier directly, since they’d rather turn him into a puppet than a corpse. That said, it’s also fairly obvious that keeping him alive isn’t a *particularly* large priority either, as we see the boy mauled to death by dogs several times, sometimes in the presence of soldiers who do nothing to stop them once the boy’s subdued. Most of their automated weapons seem to be lethal, such as the scanning search lights which show us several dead bodies coiled next to the weapons. TL;DR: No one *WANTS* to kill the boy per se, but they also have very few qualms if it becomes even slightly more convenient for them to do so than to capture him alive.
Fun fact: The Huddle can then either charge through the window with the CEO and land on him, resulting in the most violent death in the game, or wait for a moment until the CEO moves out of the way, thus sparing him. Edit: I found this on Wiki
