    You did such a great job with this video and I'm so appreciative of you sharing your expertise. We are in the middle of a kitchen install that we are trying to do ourselves bc there aren't any installers in our area. We just have the frames up and we think this is probably the best time to install the lighting. I wanted to avoid using the outlet under the cabinets as you did in this video, per the customer, but I'm wondering where you would recommend that we have an outlet installed that wouldn't be seen. Above the cabinets or behind them? Our cabinets go to the ceiling with about a 3" gap. We will be putting in a trim piece to hide the gap. Do you have any video showing a receptacle inside the cabinet and how that was done? Again, thanks!! This is so incredibly helpful!!!

      Hello! I would make myself a socket above the cabinets or put an light bulb power supply on the top of the cabinet and the wire stretched the bi behind the drywall and connected to the inside of the socket and used a portable switch, as in this video:

    I've got a strip of under cabinet Mittled lights that are misbehaving. It's a recent install and the strips towards the end of an approximately 2m run of lights are not always lighting up when they are switched on. My instinct is just to remove and replace. But I'm not sure how to remove exactly and/or whether the length of the strip may be an issue?

      You disconnect the light from the wires and change it, as well as the transformer, so you don’t need to stick out the wire to change the light.

      They are different light systems, so they designed to work different.

    • @devclark
      @devclark 2 года назад +2

      The drawer lights are actually a proximity sensor rather than a motion sensor. When the drawer is closed, the drawer front is up against the proximity switch which turns the light off.
      The pot lights and under cabinet lights can be switched and dimmed using the Tradfri wireless dimmer switch.

    Hi there! We are looking to install these exact lights in our kitchen. We have one stand alone 24" cabinet, then the range hood, then a 24" cabinet and another 15" cabinet. We also want a puck light in the 15" cabinet. How many drivers, connection cords and power supply cords do we need? Also, for the driver - should we use 10w or 30w?

    Beautiful execution by a highly skilled and well equipped worker. My only criticism is the casual use of the knife. Often when it was completely unnecessary. If craft teaching is your aim then I suggest you avoid the knife altogether. Unless it is absolutely required. Or, provide clear instructions on first aid. For dressing deep cuts and tips on reaching the emergency services for stitches.

      When you open the back compartment of the remote control - you will see a small button. You take the remote controller and hold it next to the power unit and press that button in the back compartment and hold it for 10 seconds, the light should start blinking and that should set it up to work.
