Ron Montrose never quite got the attention he deserved. Some of the Gamma songs ("Razor king', 'Voyager", "Ready for Some Action") really should be classic rock staples. And his solo at the end of Edgar Winter's "Rock'n Roll Boogie Woogie Blues" was the first acapella guitar solo I ever heard.

Mark's sooo real and grounded. He'd be so fun to sit around a campfire, with a few libations, and just talk!

No comments? OK. I am honored to break the ice.
Mark Farner is my very first "Guitar God" ever. Before Alex Lifeson. Before Michael Schenker. Before Tony Iommi. There was Mark Farner.
The tribulations this man has endured and it's only made him more humble and appreciative. He's a hero in every sense of that word.
    God continue blessing Mark Farner.

Mark has been a fav of mine since the beginning. Interesting guy. Great player and singer, and it's a tough thing he went through here, but perhaps it opens a door to greater understanding of life, death and spirituality. Looking forward to his book. Will read it cover to cover.
I had the opportunity to meet him and Lesia after a show in a nearby town a few years ago. Nice guy. Man of few words but very affable. I'm glad to see he's still going at his age, and sounding great on stage. I wonder if his former band mates bothered to visit him when he was in the hospital or even acknowledged the passing of Jesse, his son.
Something tells me, no. But, what do I know.
Great vid. Blessings to Mark and family, and to you for your channel.🙏

Great interview, thanks for all you do! Mark Farner is the real deal. In my opinion, Mark and GFR are vastly underrated in todays music scene. Watch the video of them blowing out Shea stadium with 3 guys, incredible talent, reminds me of Rush! Cool NDE and UAP stories also, sadly most people will likely choose not to hear them. Can’t blame people, unless you have had some experiences they are hard to fathom. I do however, keep on rocking guys, God bless you both!

Ronnie montrose. Always think of Sammy. You should get interview with Hagar. He just might do it with new album coming out next week. Never knew much about GFR and Mark Farnum. Cool.

How can Grand Funk not be in the hall of fame ? That fact adds to the illegitimacy of the hall. Joan jett is in and GF isn't ???

I guar·an·ty that.... JELLYSTONE will have an NDE cartoon on Ranger Smith having an NDE. I would like to see Mark Farner, Ted Nugent, Frank Marino, Paul Stanley, and Ace Frehley make an album together. Great , okay...next. By the way....good interview.
