Here are some great quick fixes to help me & you not go bonkers anymore!!!
I've been doing this for years because I've lost so many shoes. I had to come up with something and this was what I done . The earring situation for me was get rid of all the metal earrings and glue glass beads for earrings. So far so good as I check on them from time to time. I love your ideas or ( our) ideas because they save our treasured dolls. I enjoyed your tutorial so much and I'm subscribing because I know you will teach me something new !❤❤❤😊
Thanks for subbing. I love using the original earrings. I got to get more inserts into the ears though.
Oh wow that's genial solution with split sandals! Thanx!
You're so welcome! Have fun 😍
Can’t wait to try and fix some of my dolls
Great!! let me know how they turn out.
Great video, thanks Sue 😊
Thanks for watching! You are welcome.
Hey sue wonderful video! Never thought to use a rubber earring back to keep the earrings from touching the vinyl wonderful idea! I’m not sure if you’ve heard of her but there’s a channel called “tinytinkerbell” she’s a professional vintage barbie/doll restorationist who made a video on concealing green ear on dolls! It’s super simple, have tried it myself and it definitely works wonders!
Thanks, I love the earring back a lot. I think I saw that, I saw someone concealing green ear. I didn’t think it would work. But I will check it out for sure. Thanks!!🥰
That is a neat idea for barbies shoes. Great thinking.
So glad you agree.😊
those earring guards are a great idea. Thanks for sharing. I always know I can learn something from your videos. 😊😊
I am excited about it too. I have several pairs of original earrings.
Great job! Brilliant!!!!!!!
Glad you liked it!
I love watching how you addressed your Barbie issues. Thanks for sharing fun hacks! 🥰💖
Thanks Dori, I worked hard on them. 🥰
I love watching your videos I love your ideas on the shoes now I've got your idea and now I have shoes to fix and earrings .Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome, hope it all goes well for you. These ideas are crazy simple, except the first one. The operation.
So simple and so effective, such great great ideas specially the earrings love that 🎉☺️😊
Thanks Pandora. I am so happy my dolls can wear original earrings now. But I got to perform several surgeries. Yuck!!😂😍
Great ideas about the shoes. Very usefull. Thank you very much.❤
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching.
I've seen them with green ear. Great find on those pearls in the floral section. I will have to try this. Thanks
They make nice earrings, thanks for watching
All of the woes of cosmetic Barbie surgery are a challenge for sure Sue!!!
Green ear is Gangrene for Barbies!!
I know what you mean on too much CLR on an old head with slightly darker vinyl/skin..however, I found the CLR to be good if you use a Q-tip and apply it from the INSIDE of the head. Of course, it is always a slow go. I've been lucky with it. Maybe just luck....I don't know.
Thanks for the shoe tips Sue...all really good ideas!!! I have used dental floss before to tie shoes, too. Haha.
We are still trying to live with old Kens and their falling off arms!!! We might wrap several wraps of dental floss around the short arm attachments of those Kens.... but we'll see...might work...might last longer than nasty rubber bands....???
Also, early 70's Kens heads get loose and like to fall off!!! They get slight cracks on the neck seam and then the heads become loose! And then..bong!!...OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!
Talking Barbies...like to lose their arms and legs...they'll break off with the stem still in the arm or leg....and they are such pretty dolls!!!...Dang!!!!.sticky, stiff plastic was made for those bodies....arms and leg joints pop and crack when the limbs are moved...super glue I guess. That's what I had to do on an arm.
Aging is not for the whimpy...even if you are a Barbie!!!!
Sorry Barbie!! I feel your pain! Get well soon Girl!!....and all you Kens too!!!
Thanks Sue for the Pro Tips!
Mod Girl
I am really thrilled with the surgery, Barbie is doing great!! LOL. As for those broken limbs, I am thinking on it everynight. I hope to come up with a solution or a fix. My Malibu Christie's leg just broke. So I am really working on this problem. I have to come up with something. I just have to. I don't won't to transfer her head to another body. Oh well, good things come to me at night when I am in bed. Let's hope I have a brainstorm of an idea. 💕
Oh every time I put shoes on and they split I just cringe. I try to be so careful too. I’m going to be putting some rubber bands on the shoes for sure! They always are falling off and getting lost. Great tips Sue! 👍
Thanks for watching D. Rubberband help but my experience they don't last long. I just can't find any good one. Hope you can. If so let me know where you found them.💕
Loved this video Sue! And all the tips n tricks❤
So glad you liked it. I haven’t had time to do much in the last several months.😒
Hi Sue 🤗 I really enjoy your video and I want to try fixing up my dolls shoes.
Great Stacz, I have a lot to do too👍🥰
I've got quite the assortment of split shoes, so many thanks for your solution.👌 I also ❤❤❤ your creativity on hiding minor green ear with the large-"pearl" earrings. Excellent video!😀
Thanks so much. Hope it helps🥰
🤗💛🧡🎈
Thanks Vanessa😍😍
Great tips! I enjoy accessories but not losing them! Loved using the thread or ribbon as those bands break and melt. Thank you for this!!!
Glad you enjoyed my tips. I am using them for sure.
Julia looks great with her Tiana! Love your great ideas for fixing shoes!
👍 I am gonna be on the look out for a smaller one. If there is a smaller one. But yes she still works! Glad you like the shoe ideas. Thanks for watching.🥰
Hi!! Love your videos...I use a push pin for the "piercing"!!
Yes, I needed a big hole to insert the earring back. Thanks for watching!!
thank you for the tips Sue, thank you for mentioning green ear i just discovered a new solution i found it on youtube and found a place on etsy that sells it it's called remove zit stain remover, when i first saw it i thought it was something for pimples but's actually a substance that has a unique texture (i reccomend gloves because it's hard to wash off) a lady used it on her green ear dolls depending on how bad the green ear is you may want to leave on for a week and set it somewhere sunny for faster results wipe off an repeat if needed. i tried it on a bubble cut that i had that's really stubborn with her green ear. it's faded much more. the bad part about this stuff it's expensive i got mine for 30 something. but there's so much in the jar you can probably degreen ear 24 barbies according to what the lady said, and she also said not to be modest with how much you apply because it does have an expire date.
Yes, I did mention it in the video. Remove zit. I used a whole container. It helped but I still got green ear, well my dolls do, not me. Lol I treated 5 dolls for about a year till all the revive zit was gone. It helps some though. Good luck with it. I didn’t have good success at all.
@@BarbieLove thank you, i'm hoping it will deminish it as much as possible my next step is the water color shadowing method if it doesnt do the trick
It will help depending on how bad it is. But it didn't do to good for me. There still has to be a cure, just finding it.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks💕
Hi Sue , just a request here. Could you show us how to do hair repair or removal and wig treatment or reroot ? I have a couple of my dolls that i bought off Ebay and the colorful hair is really over for me. I'm into the natural color hair. Thanks.😊❤
I will soon as I can.
Ok. I was worried about you! Take care. Linda
Hi Sue poor Barbie
She's doing fine now. 😍
That's good
Who is that first Barbie with the brown hair? Just saw two of them at Savers yesterday and i thought they were clones with a steffi face bc the neck peg was different than usual barbies (I usually collect 80s on up) and it wasn’t marked. I bought one but now i think i need to go back and get the 2nd one today! Edit: just realized she “walks’ i turned her head and her arms and legs move!
The one with the pink dress. That's a Standard Barbie. She has the Tnt face and the ponytail type body. NO eye lashes and will be marked Japan on the right butt cheek.😀
Great ideas! I've been using putty to hold on the shoes. Is there a reason I shouldn't do that?
Thanks, I don’t see that putty would hurt anything. But tying them on will probably stay long term. And you can style them up a notch.
Sue where have you been? Can’t find any new videos of yours!……..
Yes. I have had a lot going on. My computer and or a camera needs replacing. I hope to get back into making videos soon. It’s been a couple of busy months. Actually since my move in July I have been overwhelmed. Hope to get back at it soon. Thanks for asking.😘
not your best video haha I"d stick to normal content much love
Sorry you didn't like it. I love that I found a way for my dolls to wear their original earrings. I keep fixing shoes. Not sure what my normal content is, do tell. Much appreciated.
