I love these first 3 episodes, it really just shows how scary Elliot's mental illness is. He can't really every trust his own mind or reality and he losing chunks of time when Mr. Robot takes over and does things that Elliot doesn't want to do. It is so scary to think how you would have no control over your own mind/ body, and Rami Malek plays that wariness, fear, confusion and anger so well. I honestly can't even comprehend how he even began to put together the pieces of Elliot. Just one other note about how monotone his voice is sometimes and how his face sometimes registers no emotions, just remind me of a lot of people with mental illness, when they display a flat affect....just those little nuances to his performance really make me so emotionally invested in Elliot and his struggles. Also all the little details that Sam Esmail puts into this show, along with how incredible and different the directing, lighting, cinematography, writing and even music is just makes me love this show so much more. This show is truly on another level, most definitely my favorite show of all time!
