In this video, I’m driving through the streets of Pattaya to visit the oldest Indian restaurant in town, Alibaba! This place is famous for its authentic Indian decor-fully styled with Indian interiors that make you feel like you’ve stepped into India itself.
I had the chance to try some incredible dishes: Chicken Masala paired with Garlic Butter Naan, Indian rice, and an amazing plate of Pani Puri with Mint Chutney and Tamarind Chutney. Alongside the meal, I was served three mouthwatering chutneys-Mango, Mint, and Yogurt, as well as some small red onions and crispy Papadam made from lentils, with a little kick of chilies inside. The food was very, very good and I will be coming back to Alibaba at least once more for sure.
In the front of the restaurant, there’s an Indian man selling Indian Pan, which is kind of similar to the Vietnamese Areca Catechu, but here it’s filled with sweets and jellies wrapped in the leaf instead of bitter stuff.

So far the best Indian food I have ever had in my life! If you people have other suggestions for amazing Indian or other cultural foods or things to do here in Pattaya please let me know down in the comments so I can try them out!
