It looks like an awesome one-off concept... The only thing that threw me off is, that front wheel somehow doesn't look right... Everything else looks pretty realistic, at least for a concept car... Great job, as always...
I really love the design, though I think the wheels don’t fit, and that the headlights could’ve followed a design similar to what the orange indicator used to be. Regardless, still my favorite design and I really think the choices you made did this Ferrari a lot of justice
I think this may be one of your best modernizations yet. It's recognizable, yet it doesn't look like a classic car in a body kit. It looks like a completely modern car with clear homage to the original, and it's also beautiful in it's own right. I am impressed!
Sorry...not a fan of ads...I scrolled forward to see the end result. As an Italian car collector I admire your passion but I prefer the original design of the Daytona unmolested 🙂
Please redesign the 1986 Saab 900 turbo aero! *IM STILL HERE. IM STILL KICKING AROUND. Some of you might recognize my name. I was the kid who was inspired in the Alfa gtv6 video. Just gonna come back and try to get him to do another car that I like* VIDEO #1
The Ferrari Daytona is a masterpiece, of the most beautiful cars ever designed, if not THE most beautiful. Trying to re-design this car is akin to re-painting the Mona Lisa. You can't improve on perfection..
I've only known what this channel about 15 minutes, but I was wondering what an updated Daytona would look like only a few days ago. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
Good car choices lately. BUT WE ALL WANT TO SEE CITROEN XSARA PICASSO REDESIGN. You even can make sport version of it like with M performance parts etc...
That redesign is just really nice. I made an attempt at drawing a new Daytona as well. So, about the headlights, I think either the ones from the 458/F12 or the ones from the SF90/Stradale/Sergio/J50 would work since they allow continuity and flow, which happen with the Daytona's popup headlights and their yellow side. My approach about the chromed bumpers is to just turn them into protuding vents that made the grill look like the back of the newer Ferraris. Anyways, awesome job!!! :D
I think the flat surface around the wheelarch is a trend because it's an easy way to make the wheels look bigger. It's sort of a get out of jail free card for designing the side of the car.
That is exactly what I was about to suggest. You don't find very many in the United States but I've always wanted a 2cv. I'd love to see it modernized.
Hello The Sketch Monkey I really like your redesign but I would like to suggest something: Why do you always keep the "sharpness" of the flanks of the fenders from classic cars ? I think it could be a bit more round and smooth to be more modern. Great vid as always !
Not your best design in my opinion, but you did great! I honestly think the lights look a little weird - which is why I would buy it. Kinda like the BMW i3 or whatever that Fiat is that you tried redesigning once. Thanks for the great content :)
My perception is modern designers dislike negative space created by grilles. BMW ignores the beauty of the original 2002 design - two headlights and the kidneys floating in a negative space (gorgeous) - and now here, it seems the negative space of the original grille was the first thing to 'fix.' I don't understand this. I think the grille pulling your eyes in to the negative space is what makes the Daytona timeless.
I reckon you would make the perfect film critic. They also don't know how to make a film but sure know how to tear it apart! Saw the e-type , that was enough!
You did it! Wow, I was nervous for you too! I know you like quirky cars, so how about updating the unique lines of the Fiat Coupe? I think you'd enjoy doing that one as much as I'd enjoy watching it 😉😁
I'm thinking lose the mirrors in the body of the door and elongate the windshield. Love the wheels and the nose, now make it look fast sitting still. Move the whole cabin forward. Hoods aren't that long anymore.
Hey redesign the land cruiser 76 series is not a common car in the states but is widely known in the rest of the world, it hasn´t changed in almost 35 years you should check it, you really rock
It does not look better than before, however it is not terrible either. And I can see quite a few 1968 Buick Riviera accents in this as well. My Dad had one.
That little gap for the headlight seems a bit weird to me, since one of the best things on the Ferrari Daytona in my opinion is the clean surfacing on the bonnet, also the vertical line extending from the A-pillar looks very out of place.
That is a wicked redesign for sure!! Wasn't sure about the bumper change but after seeing how it turned out it looks AWESOME! Almost snake like... ooooooo how about a Doge Viper redesign???? :-O
I love it. Please do the Testarossa of 512M :) And I've requested it before and I'll request it again: please explain why modern sports cars have horizontal headlights instead of the sexier, vertical ones which have been the standard since pop-ups went out of style.
I would have picked the shape and position of the 2 front bumpers to make up the headlights! That way pretty much maintain the look of the original car
Wow looks retro but at the same time pretty modern - (feels like if it was really old car designed by Ferrari and still it has an actual design)- bravo Mr Monkey
Pretty decent! Wish You would have gone for a lower placement of the headlights though. These kind of makes The front a little high imo. Still liking the vid however 😉
I might do a few redesigns and modernization of cars for my channel, would you mind if I did that, because this whole redesign thing is sort of your idea, I hate it when people steal my ideas without permission and you probably do to.
Love your redesigns but hate how it takes 4 minutes for your redesign to actually start.......Less commentary also. But your redesigns of vehicles look better than the ones on the dealership floor.
It looks good, but its weird seeing a "modern" car with such a small and elevated front grill and fascia in general, now they push down the fascia to reduce the air going under the car which makes this look more classical and beautiful, but also already old in my opinion. But, old isn't always bad and these days in the car world it's becoming a good thing.
You are modernizing a lot of cars.. But can you pick a 2020 exotic car and make it look as it was made in the '70??? (I know you have already done this XD)
Noooo! You had it until you made the headlights droop down. I like it for the vent, but the light should have just been straight across and shorter. Otherwise, very nice.
how about the lights more on the side and leave that for break cooling and air flow. the front wheel never convinced me. i think its the calipper color. too yellow. maybe some gunmetal ones or red
Please take todays production cars as base, to re-design legendary cars. This would be challenging, but also more "realistic" in a good way. With best regards.
Looks great other than the A pillar. I think it should be consistent with todays cars and be beefier due to the inclusion of airbags. Also the mirror would never look like that
Hi there good morning I just come here to make you a challenge , Ford company send out a vehicle called ford PUMA ( Europe ) And the new model just came out and I would like to know if you are able to make a sketch of the old one with updated features
can you convert modern cars to old ones?
Like make a Tesla Model S of the 60s
Good idea
A Dutch artist did this.
Name?
It looks like an awesome one-off concept... The only thing that threw me off is, that front wheel somehow doesn't look right... Everything else looks pretty realistic, at least for a concept car... Great job, as always...
The wheels are way way too big as well.
@@C.I... he always puts way to big wheels smh sidewall is nice
Agree
Complaining about wheels considering the car in those days you really see things have something above 17 inches. While today 20 inch is even common.
I really love the design, though I think the wheels don’t fit, and that the headlights could’ve followed a design similar to what the orange indicator used to be. Regardless, still my favorite design and I really think the choices you made did this Ferrari a lot of justice
I really love your last re-designs.
I appreciate that you listen to the critics.
Keep it up

Tony W this car is hideous and was largely disliked when it came out.
I do not know how you did it but you kept the same level of beauty as the Daytona, I love watching you make these cars more modern. Keep it up 😁👍
Aww yess the good old style videos are back, these kind of redesigns are way better, it's more an overall instead of a facelift and i loved it
Dude, your designs have started to really drop in quality as of late
I've only known what this channel about 15 minutes, but I was wondering what an updated Daytona would look like only a few days ago. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
Kinda looks like it was closing its eyes like this : 😑
It looks like it has something funny to tell you but it has to finish laughing first
Nice redesign:
Could you also do a re-design of the Rover SD1? because the SD1s styling was inspired by the Daytona
People who aren't into cars would think it's a miata
Xzone454wd the 2020 Miata XL😂
Congrats! Its looking amazing. Love the 612 details. Its my favorite Ferrari all times.
That was like the fastest car in GTA VC
I'm nost so sure about this one, the headlights make it look like it has the face of a sloth.
It went from looking like a shark to a stingray i love it
I think this is the best redesign you grave done so far, same level as the 1967 corvette stingray. Really well done!
Check his Porsche 911 redesign, that one's my favourite.
@@C.I... I will, thank you
That is by far the best redesign I've seen here yet. Good work.

Beautiful Re-design! Thanks mate.

Sadly no modern car has got those wheel arches, now they all have a flat vertical surface around the wheel.
I think the flat surface around the wheelarch is a trend because it's an easy way to make the wheels look bigger. It's sort of a get out of jail free card for designing the side of the car.
@@C.I... Yep, bigger and a more solid look (which I don't agree) and also it's related to the structure of stamped panels.
1st I was like "No you can't. Don't even try", and then I was all "ok that's dope af"
Nice work. It looks much more modern. Can you please do a 93 Fox body Mustang?
I can understand why you worked on the US version. The Euro 365GTB/4 is perfect and perfection needs no update.
Ouah ! as always.
Could you re-design a classic french car, the citroen 2cv, probably one of the famest car in France !
That is exactly what I was about to suggest. You don't find very many in the United States but I've always wanted a 2cv. I'd love to see it modernized.

How about an update of the Porsche 914? this year is the 50th anniversary and it might be appropriate to do it now.
One of the best re-design you've made. Could you do more Ferrari re-designs?
Hello The Sketch Monkey I really like your redesign but I would like to suggest something:
Why do you always keep the "sharpness" of the flanks of the fenders from classic cars ? I think it could be a bit more round and smooth to be more modern.

Dang, you nailed the droopy light shape!
but for an extra challenge, what about the ford AU Falcon?
Not your best design in my opinion, but you did great! I honestly think the lights look a little weird - which is why I would buy it. Kinda like the BMW i3 or whatever that Fiat is that you tried redesigning once. Thanks for the great content :)

I know you like quirky cars, so how about updating the unique lines of the Fiat Coupe? I think you'd enjoy doing that one as much as I'd enjoy watching it 😉😁
NOT bad at all looks amazing Sketch
Nice. I like how you filled out the side skirt area, definitely helps it look modern like a C7.
Great job :) !
I think this one turned out better than the E-Type. Love both, but I want to own this one.
I'm thinking lose the mirrors in the body of the door and elongate the windshield. Love the wheels and the nose, now make it look fast sitting still. Move the whole cabin forward. Hoods aren't that long anymore.
Looks very good.
Maybe you can make BMW VAN or Pickup from e53 or e70?
Great mann...keep it up..😍
Hey redesign the land cruiser 76 series is not a common car in the states but is widely known in the rest of the world, it hasn´t changed in almost 35 years you should check it, you really rock
Congratulations. You turned it into a modern day 365 gtc (yes, C) /4.
To make it more modern looking I think you should modernize the side mirrors and window frames
You can change it and "modernise " it - but you will never make it more beautiful!
Try a Shelby AC Cobra for 2019?
One of your best, I think the wheels are perfect
It does not look better than before, however it is not terrible either. And I can see quite a few 1968 Buick Riviera accents in this as well. My Dad had one.

Looks really nice, but you should have dropped it down low. It looks like it'll go airborne if it takes a sharp turn.
Hi, which software you use to redesign please tell..

Excellent redesign. The back reminded me of an XK8 and the front had very slight Miata ND hints.
He wants a Ferrari to look like a fishing lure.
I would have picked the shape and position of the 2 front bumpers to make up the headlights! That way pretty much maintain the look of the original car

I like it, just needs thicc (with 2 Cs) A and B pillars to complete the modern look, and the removal of the quarter windows
Nice one!
Love your redesigns but hate how it takes 4 minutes for your redesign to actually start.......Less commentary also. But your redesigns of vehicles look better than the ones on the dealership floor.

Nissan r34 gtr or the Mercedes benz 300sl

I'm seeing Nissan 280 in your rear and Jaguar XK8 in your front. I do like the new design of the lights
Nice job as usual.
I wish you fixed the windshield and greenhouse as well. Those still look old.

I think the smoker windows need to go. Or even better, have the whole window be pillar less. Maybe still have rear windows but just glass.
Plz redesign the Renault Avantime with the current design language, honestly the coolest mpv ever
Plz do the 67 mazda cosmo!!
not feeling the headlights but overall really nice detail!. Agree with others you need to lower the car onto the wheels a bit.
bro you taking a lot of risks lately (; how about a redesign of the GODZILA? r34
Ford coe plis
Do you do commisions?
You should have put modern wing mirrors on it and I don't like the headlight solution.
Buick Grand National my man! Maybe something with the roofline. I'm going to bug you on every video you post lol!
Re-Design the 1969 Charger Daytona!
