Mutula Kilonzo's Challenges

Barely a week before his appointment as the minister for justice, Mutula Kilonzo had been described on the floor of parliament as a person who had realized the importance of democracy after the departure of former president Daniel Arap Moi. And these remarks were uttered by none other than his fellow senior counsel and cabinet minister James Orengo. And so the question is, will Kilonzo shrug off such comments to confound both friend and foe by delivering on the reforms front or will he turn out to be the typical run-of-the-mill Kenyan politician?
