I wish interviewers would just stop asking Daniel Craig about who's the next Bond. Why can't we just enjoy the time that No Time To Die runs in the theaters, and give Daniel Craig the credit he deserves for his performance in his movies, instead of going at him one time after another to ask "who's the next, who's the next?"
He is such a charismatic and stylish actor. He played James Bond perfectly. Close your eyes and think how James Bond would look like in real life, and Daniel Craig is close to that. Best wishes to him for his future.
He’s been the best match to Fleming’s original vision of the character - rugged, not hunky handsome. Plus, when he did Casino, I was blown away at the fact that Bond was more physical than he’d been since Goldeneye. And they cut down severely on he gimmickry and gadgetry - Bond had to rely on his wits and intelligence and skill as a hand/hand combatant.
No matter what happens, James Bond should be a man. If you want a female, Bond-type, make a different film and create another character. I don't like the political message of women's equality traveling on the coattails of an already established franchise. Nothing wrong about being equal but original. It's fine to have a woman play a character like this, but do it as a separate entity.
You said exactly what I am thinking. Bond films are like a tradition that should never be broken. Lets keep some things as they are and were meant to be. I am a woman and I want as many good parts for women as there should be and can be but lets not change something for the sake of making a political statement. At the end of the film after the credits were finished rolling it said "James Bond will return" and I hope it continues to be a male playing him. Its not that a woman couldn't play the part somehow, it's just that I don't believe a woman should....in this case. Lets keep that tradition going. Saw the film today and absolutely loved it. DC will truly be missed as Bond. He was the best one in my IMPO.
He is adorable :) Love seeing him as James Bond....and needless to compare him with the previous legendary Bonds. and No time to die is very emotional and entertaining.
Regardless of ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation, I'm not sure Bond is actually English. It's not clear where he was born, but Fleming listed his father as Scottish and his mother as Swiss.

Daniel Craig took James Bond to an entirely different level. Whomever comes next will need to make that role their very own.
