"Submission is a response to being loved well, it's your responsibility to love well, you should also demand to be loved well." This kicked me in the chest. Perfect explanation ❤❤

@TheSomethingnew1. Quotes like these sound good in principle, but in practice it's a different story.
A Woman is either submissive or she's not. It doesn't matter how many "femininity" videos you watch on RUclips, it won't change a thing if you weren't raised to be submissive.
The problem is, a large percentage of our Men/Women are being raised in dysfunctional households, to the point where a lot of negative traits have been normalised.

@@caesarx8139 Dominance and submission occur in everyone naturally but women are conditioned more to be submissive. It ultimately involves releasing control and requires comfortability and a feeling of safety. Your upbringing can either make it easier or more difficult to do. But it doesn't make it impossible.

@@caesarx8139 I'm not sure what feminity videos and submission have to do with one another because they are not synonymous.

The best thing we can do for our familial relationships as adult “kids” is leave home.
Staying any longer ruins what was and could be a great relationship. Especially with our parents.

What a great episode! As a Brother, I've ensured that I've done the internal work to strip away any trauma, pain, hurt, internalised misogyny/noir etc that had been bottled up inside of me. Not just for myself but for my legacy, future generations, friends, family and strangers!
One thing that i've learnt is that men need to learn discipline and accountability. Those are the 2 fundamental things lacking in our community. It has prevented growth, positive legacy, relationships, interactions, progression etc. Without these two things man is lost and open to destructions. Its important for men to learn from others, speak to others and show a level of vulnerability that will enable growth. It is a long and hard journey but it'll pay dividends in the long run. I know that helping other men is going to be a long road (whew its hard) but it will do our generation and people a whole lotta good!

    Topic starts at 15:20
    1. 17:34 - Focus on Character before possession. What manner of man are you?
    2. 28:30 - Guard your circle: you too also need accountability and community with fellow men who you can sit with and have genuine, truthful conversations with.
    3. 38:58 - Focus on cultivating the softness alongside the hardness. You need therapy too!
    4. 49:02 - Submission is a response to being loved well. Leadership in any form is a burden.
    5. 56:22 - Stop dealing with women you have no intention with. Your actions and the way you live your life will show your intentions.
    6. 1:00:10// 1:01:00 - Stay out of womens business that does not concern you. Stop chasing (multiple) girls!!
Did this for my brother because I love him and I want him to grow 💕

Y'all killed me with the FEEEEEET 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I literally screamed as Courtney did. Thank you for speaking on assault that happens to boys. It's never spoken about and sons need to be protected like daughters. I've spoken to men that were active at 9 from a 15 year old or a mom bestfriend who was 28 🤦🏾‍♀️
It's really disgusting but these guys shrugged it off because you're supposed to like s3x or it's a "badge of honor". Protect your sons as you would your daughters.

Honestllyyyy. It really breaks my heart. And they're taught to take pride in it because women are viewed are the epitome of accomplishments from such a young age. I have a childhood friend who shared he first had "sex" when he was 7... the girl who engaged with him was 16. It breaks my heart.

I love ya'll show and I appreciate making us men the topic of discussion today! I agree whole heartedly with your advice and observations. I believe that the biggest obstacles in way of bettering ourselves, speaking as a man, are ego and being willing to give up control in order to ask for help, from other men and specifically from women. I remember growing up and learning the life lessons of "make it happen on your own, don't ask for help, suck it up! "

Wow, wow, wow! I was scared of listening to this episode because I didn’t want another “gender wars” content…but you both delivered this topic excellently well! My favourite point was about headship and submission. We all (men & women) must realize that those two roles are not “master-slave roles.” Those are Christ’s command to husbands and wives so they can mirror Christ and the Church. Men often relish too much in being the head because they don’t realize that it is a servant-leadership role that requires Christ-like character, vision, courage, stewardship, responsibility, patience, care/nurturing, etc. In other words, you must prepare yourself and do the inner work to be able to show up and lead well. And women can often be either too generous with their submission or misunderstand submission. Submission is not cooking and cleaning. Otherwise it would mean that women who can’t cook/clean for physical reasons are “less of a wife”. Submission is partnering with someone, who you have shared vision with, and allowing that person to lead. It’s how we submit to government officials because we share their vision for a nation. That’s why God says that the woman “helps” the man. God gave Adam a vision/work (steward over the earth and all the creatures), and then made Eve to partner with Adam in fulfilling that purpose. Love the ending where you affirmed men and their worth! They need that

More seriously though, I can't speak on behalf of all Men(that would be a fallacy). However, some of us were commenting throughout the Premier(and you'll see the comments under the Live text, if it shows). On another note though, some of us brothers are more talkative and some of us are less so, that's okay as well, please just be the listening ear that we may need(if we ever might need to have a discussion/conversation/confide in you) and... last but not least, please refer a brother to Better help or Black Minds Matter UK if you feel he might need some professional help.

That nail hit me right on my head Courtney, and I'm not even a mandem 😂. As an aside, I need men to realize that they too can have standards, it's not exclusive to women. You can actually pick and choose what is suitable for you and leave the rest. This ties in with the point of Intention wrt submission because it's not every girl you have to date and they don't have to submit to you and your games. Know what you want and stick to that, please.
This was so good, I think a lot of men need to hear this.
