This is an official event organised by Disney and held in the Marvel Hotel. We got to buy limited edition pins, trade with people and meet Maleficent and the Old Hag!

The best time! The only one that affected us really was Big Thunder Mountain, as that’s a great ride. The rest is handled well 🥰

Did you say at the start that you'd not been into the Hotel New York: Art of Marvel before? We're shocked - we thought Olly and Fin would be all over the gift shop and art work there 😊

Wow your pin event looks great! And you're going to WDW for the first time in August? That's exciting! Make sure you stay super hydrated! Im a WDW Passholder...make sure you keep an eye out for scrapper pins...they invade every board on property! Happy to offer any more help or tips if needed! 😊

@@disneyanddaysout so as far as pin trading: inside MK (Magic Kingdom), I've always had luck finding people to trade with outside of the Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland. For Disney Springs trading, go to Disney's Pin Traders not far from Rainforest Cafe. However with Disney Springs, I've had more luck finding people outside Pin Trader's after work / Friday and Saturday nights. Also keep an eye out for Cast Member lanyards! The resorts sometimes have sneaky good pins on their boards. You're staying at All Stars which always have boards at check in lobby and their gift shop. As far as everywhere else, i go to a Pin board and look to see if anyone else put up a good Pin or check out if anyone behind me puts a good one 🤣 I have a clear back pack with a sign to display my pins if anyone wants to trade too😁 for buying pins, they sell them everywhere but especially by the first shops near the inside entrance of each park have huge Pin selections. Hotel pins are great Pins to buy, as well as the mystery packs (we're obsessed with those here). There's also a Disney outlet not too far from property and everything is legit and less money, including pins! World of Disney and Pin Trader's in Disney Springs for buying too!

The old hag was there along with Maleficent for meet and greets! We got to see her, but unfortunately missed the time she was out to have a proper meet and greet.

Where can I find the information for the pin trading event and to buy tickets? And I love your pin bags! Where did you get them?
Disney world is amazing with pin trading!! Especially in epcot a lot of pin boards, but be careful there are a lot of fakes on the boards there
The event was announced by Disney and the flyer had the details (on social media) You had to go to the pin trading section of the Disneyland Paris website on the day of ticket release to purchase them. They were limited to 400 tickets. We are going to do a video over the next few weeks detailing all the steps and showing the pins up close 😊
Were you limited on the number of times you could approach the LE or OE pin boards? There were so many great pins on the LE board and would have jumped in line over and over again, if allowed!
You could go up as many times as you wanted. There was about a 10 minute queue for LE and maybe a minute for OE.

Ooo so excited for you! It was from 11-3 so roughy 4 hours. We can’t make the next one unfortunately as we have another pin event (PinSane Pins, Somerset) if you do go, you will have an amazing time!

Pinsane are running an event this month in Somerset 25th/26th - one day is sold out, so get in quick!
Pinsane have a London event in Late July and will do one in Preston later in the year.

Stew Pins runs an event in Milton Keynes - The Great British Pin Convention. This is usually held in November.
