Maybe too late now for you, but look around for an old irrigation engine stand. I got one from a friend that had a 428 propane engine (complete rig, with FT heads) that did duty on a farm over in California. I tore the engine down for him in exchange for the stand, which has a C700 truck radiator on it, brackets and mounts for the engine and battery, and holes for six casters. And a "never seen one before" shorty cast iron bell housing that was no doubt hooked up straight to the pump. There were at least a few third party companies back then that sold these rigs to farmers across the country, so there has to be some still floating around, possibly with 454's or 460's. Excellent foundation, just needs a gauge panel and mounts made for different engines.
We use Artlist for all of our music, and honestly, I don't remember who the artist was from them who did that. You can use a program called Shazam to find out who that artist is most of the time Shazam will even pick it up off of Artlist.
I've always wanted to build one of these for a rotary except that it would need a full exhaust system because running it otherwise would be just too damn loud. I'd have complaints from 10 blocks over.
I would say this is a noble effort. If available go to a industrial scape yard, pick up a old warehouse dolly, (2) and use the second one to cut and build radiator support and engine support and engine instrument panel with flat aluminum metal.
Really enjoying these videos, a lot of content in a short time, some levity, nicely produced, I like the narration, great bumper music. Keep them coming
I've taken the day off, and found the way to spend 20 minutes of my free time !!! Love the coffee filter hack !!!! Now, when are we going to that thing turn a flywheel in "anger" ?????? Inquiry

I have one for small block chevy and another for Ford Yblock. Both made out of wood. Works great.
Ford 302:”I’m not working with that Chevy radiator!”😀
I gotta know, who was the soundtrack?

Buy a car that has all the parts including a running engine, and cut away everything you don't want?
Any concerns about the motor being higher than the rad air pockets impeding coolant flow

Good idea! We will Continue to mock around whether this time goes on.
I like your engine stand.I think it will work great.Wondering how you will mount the starter .I guess you will add a bell housing.
