Skizz’s explanation at 50:00 makes perfect sense to fellow introverts. The best representation of the sensation I’ve heard is like this, some people get energized by interacting with people and lose that energy when by themselves, extroverts mainly. Introverts however seem to feel it in the inverse. They re-energize away from people and their…let’s call it a social battery depletes as the interaction goes on. It’s a little more nuanced than that, for example, one on one interaction can actually be very energizing for an introvert depending on who it is, but crowds especially tend to be draining. That’s the overview for how I see it. You can love all the people you’re with, but crowds drain an introvert while they energize extroverts.
for me personally , i recharge much faster when alone , but i like to be in groups as opposed to one-on-one since theres less conversation needed from me and i can choose to just listen more easily than i would if it were just me and one other person. i wonder if thats also an introvert thing or if im an ambivert or something 🤔for the most part though i definitely relate to this , and crowds can totally get exhausting for me as well. im no stranger to the irish goodbye !
In response to all the teasing you got, I think you should make a malicious compliance portal based off of level 1 of the pyramid. And still have it come out in the corner of your storage room.
18:49-I kind feel like Skizz is doomed. The 3 biggest mischief makers on at the same time, in his base??? I mean hopefully Skizz will have a base at the end
Hey Skizz - one of the main reasons why portal location matters so much to people like Sir Scar, is because when other hermits come to visit and they arrive from the nether, their first impression of your base is what they see on the other side of the portal. Which is why it's 'icky' to tuck it away behind the scenes like that (even though that's exactly what many of us would do in single player) Of course, it's also a bit rich for them to be complaining about portals when the 'nether hub', if you can even call it that, still looks the way it does haha.
In case anyone wants to look it up, Enya's song that Skizz is referencing is called "Orinoco Flow" even though the chorus has all those "sail away" lyrics. Enya was one of my favorites back in my 80s-90s school days! If you weren't sure you've heard Enya, she also did the credits song for the first LOTR movie! She has this incredible ethereal quality to her voice that's very cool.
You have to remember Ron Popeil, Skizz. Not only did he hock rotisserie chicken ovens, but was the man who brought us Popeil's Pocket Fisherman. A legend!
Laughing so hard at the advert I’m old enough to remember when tubular bells first came out in the days of vinyl and awesome LP sleeve art ! Yes I’m that old 😂
If anyone else is having this problem the chocolate they're talking about is Cadbury Freddo chocolate I thought they were all saying freno and couldn't find them anywhere online until I turned on the captions
Its such a shame Grian doesn't stream (normally and with regularity), I feel like the best of Grian is usually when he's just hanging around chatting in other people's streams and none of that ever makes it to videos. Also I think your portal is in an awesome place, It feels like it's like, behind a bookcase
Hi Skizz, I watch your videos and streams as much as I can.. I love watching you.. you're amazing and funny.. I wish you guys could play Dead by Daylight.. I'm sure you're gonna love it and hilarious with you guys playing it..❤❤❤
Skizz, have you ever thought you might be neruodivergent? 51:11 a lot of traits including this one can be tratis of ADHD & Autism. I am ADHD and my husband is high funtioning with both, and we relate a lot to the stuggles and unique traits you find yourself facing at times. Not a doctor, but it may be worth having an assessment.
41:01 DUDE I’ve been on a Star Wars weekly movie night with family, my youngest sister is watching them for the first time, and the other day I was trying to hard to Google about the cast for the Ewoks and I was getting nothing but results for some random show instead of the main movie!
Freddo frog economy fact: $0.80 Each reduced from $1.00 in Melbourne Australia 2024 (check this price in 5 years) Love your work Skizz, even when you don't get nothing done o/
32:57 - i need all non-brits to know that freddos are genuinely how we measure inflation , grian is not exaggerating one bit. im a decade younger than him and this has remained true my whole life as well , they used to be like 10p when i was a kid i think ? and not only are they now around 25-30p they are absolutely like half the size. makes me insane
I am shocked by how many people don't know who Enya is... I always thought that's something you just know. Like, default knowledge that's just implanted in your brain the moment you're born kind of thing... am I getting old? Is that it??

I adore when the hermits just chat honestly, it’s the best content out there

Same here. I liked Enya, but one of my college suite mates would listen to them constantly and got me really hooked.
I like when Grian mentions British snacks because then I go to the British shop downtown to try them 😂😂
I like how Etho explained how luxury items were expensive and then essential needs were priced low. Our priorities are really skewed now.
Oh my god. Pure Moods. A blast from the past! I owned that CD!
17 min mark is "the Kids roasting dad" lmfaoo
Dude. That commercial thing. %100 unlocked memories for me. They definitely had that in PA in the 90s.
You have to remember Ron Popeil, Skizz. Not only did he hock rotisserie chicken ovens, but was the man who brought us Popeil's Pocket Fisherman. A legend!
The glitch with the bed was really funny and with that hat too was the icing on the cake as they say
Laughing so hard at the advert I’m old enough to remember when tubular bells first came out in the days of vinyl and awesome LP sleeve art ! Yes I’m that old 😂
Wonder if he ever watched the commercial lol
Hurray something to watch when I'm sick
Feel better soon.
Also sick ✊️
grian: give me earnest feedback
skizz: okay so cd inserts!

Wow, that CD commercial! I didn't remember it til I watched it!
We had that commercial in Canada but it was a different voice over person.
grian with the gangsta lean on that shot😂
Fyi Skizz and everyone...
Terry's chocolate oranges are sold in the USA 😂. I get them every Christmas time at any local grocery store. (East coast)
This will be my crochet stream today.

oh man, I must be older than Grian - I remember 2p Freddos!
Yes you are a silver fox!! Get the freddo!

Good Morning Skizzo

$20 used to fill my tank and had enough left for lunch
if audio balancing was a crime skiz would be a law abiding citizen
@goodtimeswithscar the Ewok show does exist (at the bottom of the Star Wars section on Disney+)
40:00 I know what you're talking about, Skizz... I'm 47+ btw...
Scar is talking about Baby Sinclair... Thing show ...
Etho logs on to the server for the first time in like a month+ and you left????!?
OH the sail away commercial! I still say sail away all the time....
I always thought it was Save A whale, save a whale 😂..
All the static this episode :)
I definitely had that pure moods cd
I am shocked by how many people don't know who Enya is... I always thought that's something you just know. Like, default knowledge that's just implanted in your brain the moment you're born kind of thing... am I getting old? Is that it??
Skizz is so lucky bc he can eat strawberrys ☹️
50:54 so it's probably an anxious or avoidant attachment style generally stemmed from trauma 😅
The Ewoks show was called ... "Caravan of Courage"
There probably was a sequel... But, the first one was so bad, that I didn't watch it.
I’m going to London soon, can I get a list of good British snacks?
1:03:11 eyy hi skizz
First! Love you and your vids Skizz! 😊😊
I am suprised eniugh to go to comments... DO AMERICANS NOT HAVE TERRY'S CHOCOLATE ORANGE?
(I am a Canadian)
Im American and I feel like I'm missing out
American here. Never heard of it.
I’ve had one a number of times, but it’s definitely not easy to find.
Am American. They really only show up for a week around Christmas. I always make sure to snag one before they disappear!
Skizz's stream is like following an ADHD kid around...
🙄🙄🙄
The guy who lost 140+lbs, did he divorce his wife? :D
