The only way to Heaven is to be born again by saying out loud "Jesus is Lord" and believing in ur heart that God rose Him from the dead then you must live for Him, dont focus on not sinning bc thats self righteousness but instead focus on having more faith in Him and fear of the Lord and doing everything for Him hallelujah, i suggest getting baptized, repenting(asking for forgiveness of your sins and making a radical turn from ur sin), fasting (doesnt have to be from food), evangelizing(spreading the Gospel), praying, and reading the Bible. God and Jesus love all of you hmu with any questions have a good day God bless✝️❤️❤️ good works dont get u to Heaven God's grace does John 3:16

Beautiful language! I am a native Spanish speaker. To me, all of the sounds are so familiar. The problem is, they are arranged in a completely different way. But, every time I hear Greek, I feel like I should understand what is being said. If I just listen close enough, the meaning will become clear. It never does. I actually have to learn the language. But I have always been fascinated by the culture and history and the mystique of that which is Greek. And, oh my God! The women are so beautiful! I melted. Love the food too. But, the girls!

The accent we have today's Greeks is not nice at all. Better to learn ancient Greek with the correct pronunciation of ancient Greek. The Greeks had a different accent, but now it has changed a lot compared to the one the ancient Greeks had. You can watch this video to hear what ancient Greek sounded like (a Greek is speaking in the video but with the correct accent we had) and it's much nicer than modern Greek

@@SpartanLeonidas1821 True, but it gets iffy when you go all the way back to Mycenae. While attestation wise, it's true that there's no archaeological evidence of written Chinese prior to the 2nd millennium BC, the pieces of evidence found were from the late Shang Dynasty (Late Bronze Age, so around the same time as Mycenae, actually), and archaeological evidence show the Shang was established around the same time as Myceanae, more than half a millennium prior to those oracle bones ...so presumably the written language was in use long before those specific pieces that survived to today were created. Linear B is also not continuous with later post-Phoenician written form of Greek, while Chinese scripts are largely continuous since the Shang era (there was no Chinese dark ages unlike the Greeks, nor did they adopt another script like the later Greeks did). But you are correct in terms of strict attestation of Linear B (not classical greek alphabet). I think in my comment, I meant that Chinese was older than Classical Greek. Not necessarily taking Mycenaean Greek into consideration.

The script is different but the Language is there, and can actually be read to prove that its Greek. The Greek Language is much older than that though, and future archaeological finds will take it back even further most likely. There are other finds such as the Dispilio Tablet that take things much further back, but it has never been deciphered. Not going to mention Linear A, even though it has not been deciphered, most Specialists do not believe it to be Greek...then again all the Specialists also thought that Linear B was not Greek until they cracked the code! 👍

Yes, Cyrillic was created based off of Greek. (As Greek was created by Greeks based off Phoenician thousands of years ago).
Greek is not spoken by many people around the world today, however, one could argue that it is still a very useful Language to learn, especially if you are in any Academic Sciences & Fields such as Medicine/Pharmacology, Mathematics/Physics, Astronomy etc..
It will also teach you a lot about your own Language that probably has thousands of Loanwords in it! 👍

The "talking fast" of greeks is used a lot when they are angry or happy and sometimes we need to repeat to our friends what we' re saying to get it even though we' re all greeks. It's thing that produces a lot of humorous moments though, so we like the confusion that sometimes comes with it, as we are humor lovers.

If you observe carefully, you'll see that most languages in the world from French, UK English, Arabic, Farsi, Greek, Italian all the way to Chinese, Russian, Malay, Japanese and many others are spoken fast. American English is unique in that it makes sure that every word that has to be pronounced is pronounced clearly.

Yes, it's part of the subculture of Thessaloniki. Except for the fact that like in many other countries the southerns and the northerns speak a bit different, thessaloniki and as a result many regions around it were influenced in accent and syntax by the greeks of Istanbul who mostly came to Thessaloniki when forced to leave their homes. That means people of Thessaloniki speak a bit more "fully" and they usually place words like so, then, after at the end of the sentence.
