These views were astronomical! The lakes! The blue and the emerald 😍😍 how beautiful they came across on camera, so I could only imagine what they’d be like in real life. Wow!

We did this walk last summer and it is our favorite in NZ. Glad you got a good weather we also had to wait a for good weather so best to keep a few days open for the Hike.
I think my jaw was on the floor during this whole vlog, you guys! Such stunning beauty! I'm sure seeing it on my phone does the real thing no justice. Good to do this while you're still young and fit! Cold beers at the end..perfect!

What a great video Dane&Stacey. Always great to have a guide hiking in an unknown area but the scenery there looked amazing n I'm sure even better being there.
Wow amazing video guys Sorry I have not watched some of your old videos been away celebrating my 40th bday Hope your both are well So great to see you guys again
@@DaneAndStacey thank you guys hope your both safe with this Covid-19 that’s going on atm Perth is safe atm but feel sorry for Sydney and Melbourne they have it bad atm and my sister in-law she tells me NZ has had a few more people come down with the COVID-19 Fingers crossed we can work this out and get better.
Thank you for sharing this video. My husband and I went to NZ for our honeymoon just to do this hike. I hope the world heals soon and we can go back to NZ ( from US).
I cannot wait to do this walk. Love how excited you both get and how appreciative of life. Such a boost watching these. End shot made me giggle. Are you sure it was the hike you were referring to ……?
My crampon/tampon joke aside, I LOVED this video, it was well worth the wait and fully lived up to expectations. That hike is definitely my number 1 thing to do when I make it to NZ. The variety is just astonishing from the emerald lakes, volcanic landscapes and forest at the end, not to mention the views!!!! I hadn't realised just how well sign posted the whole thing is though. That post at 8:35 was just NUTS!!! When I saw on the news that NZ had gone into a lockdown, I immediately thought of you both - hope you guys are ok and have everything you need to see you through it! Thank you for such an awesome video ❤️🥾🥾❤️
Best joke ever 😂 Aw that makes us SO happy! You're definitely our biggest hike enthusiast so if you're impressed, that's how we know it's good! We think you'll absolutely love this hike, its definitely worthy of the number 1 spot on your list. We're all good thank you - back at home in lockdown sadly. Hope you're well too, thank you for your support as always 😊 Means the world!
Amazing! You had incredible weather. You should tackle it mid winter (with Adrift), when its full snow conditions - its absolutely mind blowing. Nice to see Hiro pop up at the end of your vlog - he's guided us twice in winter on Tongariro, he's great!
I cannot believe how awesome Tongariro crossing is... It feels like Everest 2.0 🏔️ It was a perfect day to hike for you guys. Adds another bucketlist to my adventure soon. Thanks guys 😎🇳🇿💖🏔️
Wow! Stunning hike! The views of the lake from the top were amazing! Cheers to the legend that brought the beers! Great video guys! Thanks for the reminder, RUclips didn’t send one! ~Cara 😊

Hi Friends, not sure if you mentioned this somewhere, but what month did you do the hike? Trying to get an idea of weather for when I give it a crack in the next couple of months!
What month did you do this hike? Do you recommend doing the Tongariro Crossing in early September? I really want to do the hike, but I keep reading about all these early-Spring hazards like icey downhills that are slippery, low visibility due to clouds and sub-zero temperature.
