I like the left right being "gone" but I wish they made it a little differently I feel like dribbling in general feels a little sluggish moving at all.
Interior defense is great if they tweak it anymore Imma be averaging double digit blocks. I dont even play on my centers anymore and still get 3-7 blocks on my pf

@@jonathanmontejano1569 because a point forward isnt build for that I run on a 6'7 perimeter defender and glass cleaning slasher and they both hold everything from the 3 to the 5 very well but they still cant stop everything but its also to the point were I rarely even touch my taller builds unless I really wanna play big big. It's alot to do with timing and positioning but if u dont have at least a 75 block and 70 interior forget about guarding a post scorer that wouldnt even make sense. They have like 99 all of that stuff vs a build with your best defense stat being steal or def reb

The meta is literally undersized bigs the only two true bigs that matter are a 2 way glass sharp and a glass cleaning finisher. Anything else can be smaller and even both of them have smaller variants as soon as I realized undersized bigs were just as dominate but faster and more athletic, I switched back to playing on them. Red contest gonna go in because 2k is bullshit lmao it does the same thing on 3 pointers no matter what the timing or contest and u can spite a wide open dunk with a 99 driving dunk it's a video game. Honestly, as someone who has played 2k forever I am so glad they did this. So fucking sick of those playmaking shot creators that have no basketball IQ abuse left right cheese and screens, then green everything. We need all that shit gone so that theres actually some skill in playing this game. Seeing the same lineups every game, having literally every guard play exactly the same has just ruined 2k for me. So, punishing those guards is the best thing that could happen imo they are the ones killing this game and community.
I love this patch however I feel like 2K going to revert the dribbling because of these play shots gonna be crying about it. However I feel like 2k makes unnecessary changes every year mainly with badges. Also I’m on current gen and is the defense or lateral quickness like delayed or slower compared to the offensive movement or am I just trippin? Btw Ima 2 way playmaker
Defensive Player Movement is slower, been like this for years. Also, the Sliding on this Game when playing D is annoying af so im glad Left Right Speedboost got patched

The update was a W. If you can't kill your opponent in 3 moves or less then you aren't going anywhere. Now, these playshots have to pass instead of lulling defenders to sleep by dribbling out the shot clock.

Ain't nobody tryna play hours and hours just to learn how to dribble better
@@luewe6568 they didn't change turbo/speed boosting as long as you don't go straight to the side. Only moves that got slowed down were purely lateral moves. Realistically it will affect real dribblers occasionally, but anyone who knows how to dribble non-laterally will still be able to create shots. Step backs feel like the best way to easily get open now, along with drive into a spin back, and of course, best of all, good ball movement. Only promotes more playstyle diversity.

THIS is what people were asking for when we said defense needed a buff. NOT the cheesy steals/steals in passing lanes and chase down blocks from half court.
The patch is great. Now the game is more fun because it is less repetitive and you don't have to guard that every possesion. Now you can only dominate if your skilled at the game.
