thank you very much for such meaningful information. I am looking for the details of dorm. Luckily, I found your video. Thanks again Susanne!! It's sad to hear that there is no KITCHEN, how can i live without kitchen? To be honest, I love cooking even though they have delicious Korean food, I also wanna cook my own food as well. So, I understand your feeling, fighting Susanne!!!
I am glad I could help!!! And thank you for your kind words! YES, it is indeed very sad that there is no kitchen, I love cooking too and that was the biggest downside of staying at the dorm I think.. But if you make friends with people who have a kitchen at home in Dageu, you could all cook together and teach them some of your dishes from home! :)
No problem, glad I could help! The dorm cafeteria opens from 7-9am for breakfast and from 5:30-7pm for dinner during weekdays, on weekends it’s 8-9am for breakfast, lunch was around noon for one hour and 6-7pm for dinner - as far as I remember ^^’
Please tell me are the keimyung university dormitory have common international kitchen to cook..or not because i am coming as language student of GKS-2020 scholar
Hey!! :D There are a few cafeterias on campus, I only tried a few of them - but all the meals I had were really good! Sometimes I just had cup ramyeon or some micrwave meal in the dorm when I felt lazy to go somewhere ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I will try to gather some footage on that topic ;)
There's only 1 microwave and refrigerator available per dorm building. On Fridays, the kitchen in the International Lounge (a 5-7 minute walk away from the dorms) is available, but you can't use it for daily cooking. As of the Spring 2018 semester, the dormitories have been offering a daily kitchen for Muslims to use, but only through a specific sign-up process. So in short, not really.
Floofle thanks for the info about the kitchen in the international lounge being open to use on Fridays and the Muslim kitchen - I forgot to mention that!
No problem! By the way, I never would have decided to study at Keimyung for a semester had I not had the great insight that your videos provided. Best decision yet! Keep up the great work!
Hi Melina! I didn't get any notification until about mid June! I know it's hard not knowing and just waiting but hang in there, I'm sure it will work out :)
Yes, there is one in the dormitory village (Seongseo campus)! That one is not open 24 hours though I think, because there is a curfew if you live in the dormitories. Hope this helps somehow!
Hi there, it depends on the building you choose! Also the rent may change a bit throughout the semesters but I will give you some examples about the pricing when I was studying at Keimyung: Female international hall WITH meal plan: 1,542,000 KRW Female international hall NO meal plan: 1,078,000 KRW Male international hall WITH meal plan: 1,143,000 KRW Male international hall NO meal plan: 679,000 KRW General hall WITH meal plan: 971,000 KRW General hall NO meal plan: 507,000 KRW

do the dorm buildings have a kitchen for daily cooking?

@@SusanneEverywhere Thank you so much ^^
Hi, how much are you paying for rent and meal plan? Or you have to pay for them separately?
Hi there, it depends on the building you choose! Also the rent may change a bit throughout the semesters but I will give you some examples about the pricing when I was studying at Keimyung:
Female international hall WITH meal plan: 1,542,000 KRW
Female international hall NO meal plan: 1,078,000 KRW
Male international hall WITH meal plan: 1,143,000 KRW
Male international hall NO meal plan: 679,000 KRW
General hall WITH meal plan: 971,000 KRW
General hall NO meal plan: 507,000 KRW
Female international hall is more expensive than male because girls share their rooms by two, guys by three people..
Susanne Everywhere May I ask you if these prices are per month or per semester? Thanks!
@@SusanneEverywhere May I ask you if these prices are per month or per semester? Thanks!
@@yanisamai01 this is for 4 months from 28th Feb to June
How many people share the room in general hall?
Girls usually share the room by two and boys three on one room for some reason. Hope this helps!
