Honestly it was almost like a mission where he didn't do it because he wanted to he did it because there was money involved let's not make it seem like he was sipping just to do it he basically even told her that if he had the opportunity to talk to her even without the money he probably would have left her ages ago. He might have caught feelings but at the same time the moment she decided to bring another man into the equation he kind of just let everything just happen almost like a security guard and let her do whatever she wanted. And then when it was all over and he decided to break up with her she's wondering who gave him the right to do so especially her knowing about the money kind of made it even more meaningful for him to just leave her as the only reason why she wants him now is because the fact that she wanted to save face. In your book you might call him a simp and he might even call himself one but in my eyes he is a smart individual who might have caught a bit of feelings but he completed the mission and he had enough money to leave and do his own thing and even found love later. On top of that even both Flames wanting him from his old job to his new one and both of them willing to give up everything just to be with him so if he isn't the living definition of being a man's man then I don't know what is.
Bruno must be desparate to sell his minor niece to him… 😂😂😂
But im still wonder how Charlottet crossed Bruno that much, that he was willing to spend so much money for a revenge plot.

Honestly he spent five years with her so he probably still cared about her but not love her like he literally is willing to be friends with her but not to the point where he is in a relationship with Charlotte as the only reason why he is being there for her is because she took a hit for him Zoe definitely felt some type of guilt and at the same time these women have been following him. Literally the fact that they could find him even without him going there to see Charlotte made me feel like that guy that's paying him is also getting money to know where he's at. Actually it’s quite irritating to hear from mc about righteous things.
Instead of questioning himself if his bet is the thing that broke Charlotte, he just brushes her off. Maybe it was his bet that broke her when she found about it and she started dating other men to take a revenge. I remember there was another story like this where fml did these things even though it disgusted her but she slept with other men on their bedroom to take revenge because their meeting was a bet and she heard rumours that he is after her only for her money.
