I LOVED this Vlog! More please. Wow, is that New Mexico? Beautiful scenery. I can't wait until your next vlog. Definitely going to read The Count of Montecristo. Beautiful cover. And can't wait to purchase your Junk Journal Zine! WooHoo!
Wow, thank you so much! I'll certainly try to share more videos in this style then. Looking forward to sending out your zine. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it!
"The Count of Montecristo" is a gem. Enjoy it! My 11 year old son and I are about to finish reading aloud the "Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring." It has been an absolute joy. Currently, I am in the middle of "Sense and Sensibility," by Jane Austen. Thank you for sharing your selections.
Yes, I am very much looking forward to these reads! Hoping to add "Lord of the Rings" to my reading list this year, too! I know I 'm certainly missing out!
Oh, thank you so much! Creating these vlogs have been so much fun. Yes, perhaps I’ll continue with this style ❤️ Desk tour may be included in one of these upcoming videos. Thanks for the suggestion!
Ok so the END of book 1 in the ACOTAR series, OMG. That has been the most impactful 3-5 scenes I have ever read. The part where Amarantha's court falls? OMG. AND FEYRE SOLVES THE RIDDLE HOLY CRAP! I had totally forgotten about the riddle by that point in the book, I don't know about you. But omg.
I’m reading James Clavell’s Shogun and watching the series on FX. The book is getting me thru till the next episode. Both are more than I could have expected.
Awesome vlog!!! Great purchases- Project Hail Mary was one of, if not my fav book I read in 2023. The audio version is amazing, I highly recommend it, def top tier! I haven’t read Circe yet either, though I have it on my book shelf. I look forward to hearing your thoughts when you get to it. I’m excited to receive your zine. 😁 Happy reading. Happy Journaling. You inspire me to get back to journaling again. Thank you. ❤️
Thank you so much, Laura! I'm really looking forward to reading Project Hail Mary, especially now after seeing your comment and how it's one of your favs! So honored to be the inspiration you needed to get back into journaling.✍️📓Really looking forward to you receiving the zine!! Hope in inspires you to write and create even more!🥹💖
Oh Divine Rivals broke my heart in so many ways. Without dropping any spoilers here. Even though this book is fantasy romance, the portrayal of the war felt so real. 😢❤
I LOVED the movie The Count of Monte Cristo and I own the Penguin classic version of the book but never read it either. I’d love to do a buddy read with you on it since it’s so daunting 😂
I love this video! I’d love to hear more about Throne of Glass. I’ve read most of the ACOTAR books (I haven’t read ACOSF yet but I plan to do a reread of the whole series soon) and also read the first two books of the Crescent City series but didn’t read Throne of Glass yet. I definitely want to though! Honestly I’d love to hear book reviews from you, whether they are full of spoilers or not 😊
When I finish the Throne of Glass series I’ll be sure to share final thoughts in my vlog. Honestly, though, I don’t think it could replace my love for the ACOTAR series❤😅
Loved this vlog! Have you read any Frieda Fedderman. Surprising end down to the last few pages. The Housemaid is so good. The sequel is The Housemaid’s Secret. I’ve also read The Teacher. Many blessings.
You should check out The Mist of Avalin by Marion Zimmer Bradley it's from the 80s, but a great favorite of mine. It about the women behind King Arthur's throne.
Aloha Michelle, You're an ENFP, I'm an INFP. We have very similar taste in pens and inks. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your art journals! And like you, I prefer seeing movies without knowing anything about the film or series. For example, I saw "Her", "Nocturnal Animals" and "Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri" without knowing what to expect and loved each one. P.S. I look forward to your next video. 🌺🌴🍍🌈☀
Hello!! So happy to see we have similar taste and interests! ❤❤ Looking forward to sharing more in upcoming vlogs! I appreciate your support and kind words! Thank you!🥰🥰
Great vid thanks! How do you make time to read so much? After getting home from work and doing house chores I’ve got nothing left to read. But open to some tips if you have any.
Thank you! If it’s a book I’m really into, I make time somehow. For example, I’ll stay up an extra hour or two and read before bed. After work, I’ll read instead of scrolling RUclips or social media. If I’m really loving the book (and it’s long) I’ll get the audiobook version and listen while driving to work, cooking, and cleaning. Hopes this helps.😄
The Belgariad (5 book series) and The Malloreon (5 book series) By David Eddings. I can’t express how much I love these books. Do you keep all your books? Do you never run out of space. I LOVE my books. But I’m running out of space! What do you do with yours? Do you ever just go to the library?
Aaaagh!! You’re absolutely right! Brain fog! I totally spaced it and went with the order they had at the bookstore. Whelp, just another excuse to make another trip. Thanks for catching that!!😂❤
Every time I go to the bookstore I find the cuts notebook's and journals and pens that makes my day but it's been 3 months of not buying any notebook's i am waiting until my birthday to buy more notebook's and pens 📓🖋 🎁🎉🎊 i Tryed to read a book and I just couldn't get into reading
hehe! Okay, I'll keep you in mind should that thought ever cross my mind. Perhaps Joe can just make you one as well? I believe he takes commission as this one was.
Aww, thanks! If I had more time, I'd be happy to take on more penpals. I'm the worst, though!😂😂 You may be able to find some on Instagram, though. That's how I found mine years ago.
I'm probably in the minority, but I do not recommend Lord of the Rings 😴😪💀 I made the mistake of reading it to my kids a few years ago. It was such a snoozefest, and I now know there's such a thing as too much world building. It probably gets better after the first, but I refuse to continue. The Hobbit is way more enjoyable.
Oh, okay! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It’s a 50/50 with Lord of the Rings. Half love it, half don’t. Never came across a middle ground, interestingly enough.😅 Yeah, too much works building does seem a bit tiring for my preference. Appreciate the suggestion!❤️
That tea is garbage. The bag is bad, and the tea is just the leftover of the real tea. Buy loose tea instead is better for you. not that cheap garbage.
You’re right.. It’s not the best tea. This is my backup for when I run out of the “good stuff.” I’m currently enjoying Harney & Sons. Is there a brand or tea you highly recommend? I would love to try it!❤
💌✨my new "Junk Journal Zine" here: ko-fi.com/s/055245a22d
Reminds me of The Gleaner Zine from late 90s - early aughts … Thanks for the cozy vlog.
@@michellealdrichI love creating these zines! It’s such a fun process! Thank you so much!❤

The Count of Monte Cristo is a masterpiece. For me, it’s one of the most exquisite books, well-written and perfectly executed. Hope you enjoy it.
Thank you! I’m certainly looking forward to slowly enjoying this!❤
I totally agree. The Cout of Monte Cristo is epic. My #1 favorite.

Yeeess!! Towards the end had me one the “edge of my seat.” Immediately had to start book 2 after that!😮😳🤯
I’m reading James Clavell’s Shogun and watching the series on FX. The book is getting me thru till the next episode. Both are more than I could have expected.

Loved the Court of Thorns and Roses series, as long as the Divine Rivals 2 book series.
So happy to hear that!! Such good reads!! Love them so much!❤❤
Oh Divine Rivals broke my heart in so many ways. Without dropping any spoilers here. Even though this book is fantasy romance, the portrayal of the war felt so real. 😢❤
Yes, this book is certainly one that sticks with you🥹😭❤
Circe is amazing. Such a captivating read. I listened to it but may to do a re-read with the physical book. Enjoy!
I’m looking forward to it! Thank you ❤
I love your soothing voice
Aww, you’re so kind. Thank you❤

The Belgariad (5 book series) and The Malloreon (5 book series) By David Eddings. I can’t express how much I love these books. Start with The Belgariad, the books in order are as follows…
Pawn of Prophecy
Queen of Sorcery
Magician’s Gambit
Castle of Wizardry
Enchanter’s End Game
Then read The Mallorean…
Guardians of the West
King of the Murgos
Demon Lord of Karanda
Sorceress of Darshiva
The Seeress of Kell
For bonus there are 2 more books you can read after the two series…
Belgarath the Sorcerer
Polgara the Sorceress
These books have been out for a long time, but they are (in my humble opinion) some of the best “normal” fantasy that has ever been written.
I’ll have to check these out! Wow! Thank you for sharing!❤❤
I am currently reading The Queen’s Assassin and the bad weather friend
How nice! Thanks for sharing!
Do you keep all your books? Do you never run out of space. I LOVE my books. But I’m running out of space! What do you do with yours? Do you ever just go to the library?
I just started collecting (favorite) books recently, so my bookshelf isn’t full (yet). Others are in my kindle as well.
Lonesome Dove is excellent.
Good to know! So excited to read it this year!❤
WAIT NO! QUEEN OF SHADOWS IS AFTER HEIR OF FIRE!!!! Empire of Storms is after Queen of Shadows!!!!! Hope figured it out in time!!!
Aaaagh!! You’re absolutely right! Brain fog! I totally spaced it and went with the order they had at the bookstore. Whelp, just another excuse to make another trip. Thanks for catching that!!😂❤
Lonesome Dove is a series
Oh! Okay! No wonder the book is so thick. haha!
A Little Life is amazing. Major trigger warnings though. One of my favorite reads of last year
I’ll definitely have to be prepared 🥲❤️
Nooooo! Your zine is sold out! Yay for you, boo for me! Lol
Yes, it’s always shopping for new pens and notebooks, especially when it’s a special occasion ❤
That is the classiest Barnes and Noble I have ever seen. Usually they are right in a parking lot. Utah???
This is just the mall entrance side. The other side is the parking lot view which I show in my recent vlog. So you’re not wrong😂😂
Thanks for letting me know. Next time I’m there I will definitely check that out!
Hi, is this in utha? I never know because america is sooo huge 😊
Yes, Utah
If you ever decide to sell your little pen designs - deep space delight 3, just tell me!
hehe! Okay, I'll keep you in mind should that thought ever cross my mind. Perhaps Joe can just make you one as well? I believe he takes commission as this one was.

BTw Sarah J Maas’ birthday is March 5🎉
Yay!! Sarah and I are both March babies!!😂🎂
Wait... Were you wearing a Death Note shirt?
Yes! Good eye, my friend😉❤️
I wanna be your penpal. I have only two at the moment❤
Aww, thanks! If I had more time, I'd be happy to take on more penpals. I'm the worst, though!😂😂 You may be able to find some on Instagram, though. That's how I found mine years ago.
What kind of pens are those please? 😊
