You should try bon Jovi playing " wanted Dead or alive" live and unplugged at the MTV video awards in 1989
Their two main ones are of course "Livin' on a Prayer" and "You Give Love a Bad Name". But "Runaway" is good too.
And "Keep the Faith" is ok even if its in the 90's by then.
I remember seeing Bon Jovi on their very first tour. They only had one album out, but they put on quite a show! The boys were killing the ozone back in those days, lol. Great reaction, Lulu!. \m/

The guy screaming at the start of the video was Sam kinison who passed away quite a few years ago. He was a comic and there's plenty of his performances on RUclips. If you feel like looking them up he will definitely make you laugh! Peace!
I saw Sam Kinison live twice, first time was his first performance he had in Hawaii and the second was his last performance he had in Hawaii. He had me rolling, he was so funny. The good lord took him way too early.

The guy in line asked the question was an hilarious stand up comedian Sam Kinison. He was in a number of 80's videos. This song from the album "New Jersey" was released in 1988.Several good songs on that record
I remember when they shot this video. They announced on the radio if anyone wanted to be in a Bon Jovi video to show up at the Long Beach Convention Center in CA. People were given video cameras as they entered and told to shoot and film whatever they wanted. They collected the film as they exited and allowed them to keep the cameras. They then went through those films to edit this video.
In the beginning of the video, good ole Sam Kenneson, Pentecostal preacher turned loud-mouth comedian. LOL Unfortunately this is not one of Bon Jovi's better songs IMHO. "Wanted Dead or Alive" is one of their best songs you should check out.
The gorgeous blonde in the video was model Debbie James, who went head-to-head on Star Search with Bobbie Brown. Debbie ended up doing infomercials and getting small acting roles, and Bobbie went on to do much higher profile things.

The music was commercialized, I mean, that's obvious. I think it's common with every generation. But there was energy in the music. I survived the 80's! And as Stevie Nicks said in one of her songs: ''And if I could...I'd do it all over again.'' BTW, check out Bon Jovi, ''She Don't Know Me.'' It's from the same era as ''Runaway''

Sam Kinison was an honorary member of the rock community back then. He hung around with a lot of musicians and even did a metal version of the song Wild Thing with several members of popular bands like GnR, Poison, Bon Jovi and Mötley Crüe.
To be specific, Sam was the comic friend of the rock stars and had a unique way of presenting his comedy!

Bon Jovi are okay, but I've never been a fan. In 1984, I went to see Kiss and the support band was Bon Jovi before they became famous two years later. We didn't care about seeing the support band as we didn't know who they were at the time and went to the Pub instead. As we came into the hall, Bon Jovi had played their last song and I saw Jon Bon Jovi going off the stage before the interval.
