Alas, scoreboards are lost technology, forgotten in the mists of the ancient past.
Huge part of why people want a scoreboard....to see if someone is straight hacking. Literally had streamers get kind of angry like "WHY do you want a scoreboard?" and I was like "Are you fucking kidding me?"

Had the community not complained so much about premium and wanting a live service , then we would of had DLC galore.
I've been playing bfv for a while, and there are a lot of legacy cheaters who people know by name. soon as they join your server you know what to expect and theres really nothing you can do about it.
Same on BF1

Man, the value of older Battlefield titles are coming back to daylight after the BF2042 release
Ikr, they still have the soul of battlefield, even BF V which is the one I dislike the most

we couldn't complain about the graphics at least, performance and stability was much better. even though bfV was a bit of wasted opportunity to create an all-round more gritty ww2 bf experience
4:40 - medic makes a huge play to revive Jack (edit: 3 times), meanwhile in my BF2042 game I have 3 medics standing on top of me and nobody revives.
they can't revive you because DICE still hasn't fully fixed the revive bug thats been in the game since the damn beta
The revive train in 2042 is real, only reason someone isn't picking you up is because a part of your body is touching something.
Annoying bug, that they hopefully will fix.

Nahhh.. yes, the bug still exists but plenty of times I’ve been nowhere near a wall or object and people just leave me to die. Not cool. I always revive if I’m near.. and usually even if I have to run through bullets blazing
@@-Rambi- They don't revive you even if you're out in the open. I've had folk try to revive me when I've been stuck in a wall, but I've more just run past me. Folk don't even give you ammo in 2042, and that's not a bug, it's just them not passing it about.
Bf1 and bf5 are ruined by the blatant hackers now. But without them these games are beautiful

@@woaahrich5434 maybe it can be fun for 1h, but after that it probably is just pure boredom, no real adrenaline, no rush, no feeling of accomplishment...nothing, just clicking and annoying people. this behavior is as toxic as it gets. one top of that, they just empty the server-as soon enough players get pissed off- u soon have 5v5 in 32v32 battle...then the cheater gets bored too, moves on to next full server...similar to bacteria, or some terminal disease- looking for healthy fresh servers to kill. anyone who enjoys cheating is a pathetic human being that had no love in the real world.

Imagine having such a pathetic life you need to use aim bots to give yourself a false sense of victory.
Jack, you can harrass these cheaters using a rush bomb, the charge bomb or whatever it was called.
Essentially when you hit the ground with the stick bomb, you cause an explosion that knocks over everyone, including allies, so you can harrass the cheater from getting kills, it's a great troll against them.

@@AmirKhan-qx2lr I would think either would work but the advantage of the lunge mine is you can have it as the support and so can use it and reload from your ammo box so unlimited harassment :) Don't fire grenades do friendly damage as well?

Reporting does nothing. They dropped support entirely now, shouting into the void. BF1 and BF5 on PC are riddled with cheaters. BF5 in particular has been really poor with its anti-cheat system in place from launch. I moved onto PS5 and never have issues.
This is not entirely true. Yes, they are slow at banning people, but reporting them helps. Also, if members of the own team report a cheater, it gets higher priority as it is deemed more credible.
I find the only time I find cheaters on BF1 on PC is on the DICE official servers, but I don't find any on any of the other servers I play on
Ps5 don't have hackers but it still has cronus zen aim assistant and no recoil mods
@@prestongreenbay6336 what is, infact, cheating... people thinking there're no cheaters on console live in a fairytale world, while such things like aim-assist are basically the aimbots blueprint, delivered witht the game itself - best thing you can have to counter this on all plattforms are private/community servers with acive admins

@@andrethevegan_ prepare to get slaughtered at the start. Took me ages to get a feel for it and it wasn't until I turned the deadzone off completely on the controller settings that it began to feel right

This is exactly what all players should do... on both teams. if someone clocks that theres a cheater, they stop shooting and the entire team who have the cheater follow them blowing the cheater. Which class, if you have to, it will make the game more fun to get rid of them
How satisfying is the gunplay in this game, the sounds and the feeling when you get a kill with a sniper is next level.
gunplay is really good in bf5 better then bf1 in my opinion and of course better then codpex 2042
Hooked playing this game. I just wish it had more social features.. there’s nothing more bittersweet than clinching a narrow win of conquest and not been able to praise the team after the game

Went back to Bf1 and man, what a game. We didn't appreciate it enough back in the day. Much more polished than BFV in product quality. Lots of weapons, much much better world war atmosphere.

Amazing how many people were slating BF5 before and since 2042, people seem to have forgiven it.
bfv is miles ahead 2042, damn game literally downgraded almost every aspect battlefield players enjoy, there's little to no destruction, movement feels clunky and COD'ish, guns feel horribly powerless, worse terrain deformation, I mean seriously, just mention one thing BF2042 is better at.
Maybe the next bf will be even worse and people will appreciate 2042?. Haha no chance people will ever appreciate that dumpster.
I never had a problem, other than their horrible TTK changes, but it went to a great spot and the game is awesome.

There's a couple level 400+ players that blatantly cheat with 90% headshot kill ratios accross all weapons

Graphics and many details of bf5 looks amazing compared to the bf2042
Playing BFV after 2042 is soo refreshing lmao
All this game needed was 2 more years of support adding more fronts and a proper naval warfare. Ditching the live service model solely dependent on elites and skins, a premium pass model like bf1 could really bring this game in it's full glory.
Already going back to Battlefield 5 now are we?

What I've experienced in BF1 and V the last few month is EVERY match both teams have atleast 1-2 cheaters, so it kinda evens out the playing field if both teams have an aimbotter fragging out
I'm enjoying this game now, feels like a battlefield, what an opportunity lost of what could have been if this game had the atmosphere and immersion of BF1

My god I miss BF, but BF4 is not upscaled for next gen and I played so much BFI + BFV, that I just can't pick it up anymore. I wanted a modern shooter for change.
That part where Jack was going across the bridge with the Stuka hitting the mountain in front of him. And the p-51 flying over just as he got to the flag was SUPER cinematic!!

Level 345 and stopped playing battlefield v because of cheaters. I have spectated many players cheating and and got bored seeing this.

Every game has a hacker. It's completely ruined. Where are the hackers to hunt the hackers? Surely someone must have thought to do this? Reporting does nothing.
BFV is rife with cheaters, there's one on every map now it seems. Nearly every single game i play.... It makes games so unbalanced that one team just spawnlocks another and it ruins the fun.

Thanks for pointing them out Jack, but OF COURSE HES CHEATING!!! You were playing BF5. Multiplayer and Firestorm have been ruined by the modded controllers, strike packs and other cheats. it doesn't matter if you report them, they just come back under another name soon after. Try Firestorm, its virtually unplayable some nights

the tough part about banning cheaters from DICE's perspective is that there's a chance of banning someone who is actually just too good and therefore appears to be cheating. From their perspective, it's incredibly difficult to draw the line between someone who plays unusually well versus someone who is actually cheating, even if there is a significant number of reports. Really, the best solution is to play on dedicated servers run by community members, where each server can come up with their own policies and bans against cheaters. To rely so heavily on DICE to lay out a more centralized banhammer might cause more problems than it would fix.
I mean this is why you invest in any form of anti cheat instead of relying on players to do it for you.
Doesn’t matter how intrusive it is, do it. Good example, look at Valorant. Game requests root level access to your PC and if you’re running anything suspicious, you get banned

Cheaters in BF5 are like covid19. They're everywhere, no matter what you do to prevent them they will never vanish, and in the end you accept the fate that you gotta live with them.
Dice should scrap 2042 and move back to this with some more DLC
Best course of action for DICE now is to nuke BF2042, go back to working on BFV and finally release the big battle of Stalingrad and bring D-day too. People would happily pay for this, way more than they are willing to pay for BF2042
I'm sure they could do a soft re release of BFV for like 15 euros if they go for one more year of content.

It's people like him that caused me to leave BF5. To say that it isn't plagued with cheaters is just trying to sweep it under the rug. BF5 has some of the worst cheating I've seen in any game I've ever played in the 30 years that I've been gaming. It also has horrible visibility issues that were never really fixed either.
Now I get it why 2042 doesn't have a scoreboard... ☠️

Love me some Battlefield 5 content, WW2 might be my favourite era for shooters
BF5 sucked early on, but ended up being pretty good, especially the gunplay. The biggest problem was the lack of content that fans wanted, including the entire Eastern front and iconic battles like D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, etc. I can't believe they stopped support early for BF5 just to crap on the community with BF2042. They should have continued support for BF5 for another 6-12 months and THEN given us a finished 2042.

It’s stuff like this that seems like it would be so easy to find these people and ban them by just looking through players’ stats for insanely high accuracy, high headshot %, and high K/D.
Yesterday I was in a server with a player that had 200 ping and got 70 kills. I only started playing Battlefield V because it was on sale and I was curious about these cheaters that I always hear people complain about. I was not disappointed.
if you ever feel stupid, just remember dice chose to focus on BF2042 over finishing BF5

Played Crossfire today, it might need more time in the oven. To say the multiplayer is barebones would be quite the understatement right now
ive really never understood why bfv gets so much stick. looks great, gunplay is fun, soundtrack is top notch and it has plenty of atmosphere. coming off the back of BF1 and the WW1 setting, i think people spat their dummy out a bit when it was announced as it was WW2 and not modern day.

check which version of direct X you are running. One of them had an issue with BFV, which I don't know if it was fixed.
I really think companies need to hardware lock and IP ban them!
Back in the Day with Battlefield you could Kick and Ban Cheaters from your servers . I Miss those days :-(

Still playing BFV regularly, having a cheater in the match is pretty common, see one every other day or more.
So cool that there's no way to report someone for cheating in that game...
