Today was our last day onboard the MSC Splendida and we are back in Dubai! We had the chance to partner with the Dubai Tourism Board this week, so we have some awesome adventures planned! Starting with the coolest hotel we have EVER seen, the Meydan! We ended the day having our first meal in Dubai with a new friend named Georgie. She took us to a fantastic restaurant called Cuisenero Uno! It was fantastic and you should definitely go there when you visit Dubai! Linked at the top of this description :)

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Within an hour of this video being uploaded, we were sat at the same bar in front of Chef John engaging with him as he prepared this incredible cuisine. Despite living in Dubai ourselves for the past 9 years, the numerous signature dishes we experienced surpassed anything we've tasted before. The Beef Tartare, Beef Tacos, Negra Paella, Shortribs, Mocktails and what-the-hell-have-I-just-tasted-Jalapeno-Sorbet can all only be described as out of this world amazing!
Thanks guys for introducing us to Cuisinero Uno Urban Tapas Bar - an absolute gem in Dubai. We also had the most awesome evening with all the staff, meeting fab Jamie Buenaventura too, the Chefs' Marketing Manager / younger sister. So pleased you had fun in Dubai - can't wait to see the next videos :). In the meantime, we're heading back to taste the rest of the menu... :)

I have been binge watching all your videos and I am finally caught up. I wanted to compliment both of you on your growth in such a short time in not only your video quality but your commentary. Kara , you are doing such a good job with your food descriptions. These last few months you have really grown in the way you describe what you are eating. It makes it so easy to imagine what it really tastes like.

And can we take a minute to talk about Chef John? Clearly very talented and brilliant in an understated way. Everything he made looked incredible.

I visited Dubai and Kuwait last year and I loved every minute of it there, especially the difference between the two countries.
That restaurant looked amazing! We love tapas and their's looked extra creative. The fact that they had their own hydroponic garden was super neat.

I see nothing wrong with K & N accepting upgraded amenities, perquisites, or any other "goodies." If the VLOG where committed to travelling on the cheap just for the sake of instructing others how travel in abject misery, while eschewing luxury, then I might say "natty, natty, boo-boo," but PLEASE, fellow commentators, gimme a break. Can any one of us refuse a freebee, upgrade or other goody? If someone offers you $100 for a selfie would you say, "no, I'm sorry, but I'm not into selling selfies?" Do me a favor, point them in my direction, I'll pay for your lunch too.
PS: If you'd like to tell me off, I'll listen...for $20. 😁
I couldn't agree more. I've seen similar comments on the channel of another YT couple I watch. As they've grown in popularity, they've also gotten a lot more support from companies who like their content and invite them to showcase their... hotel, product... whatever. And they're always getting hate for it. I can't imagine ANYONE saying no to these types of offers. No one would. If anyone says differently, I call B.S.
Oh, and by the way... Kara and Nate have worked so hard to make great vlogs and content. They deserve this. They've earned it. ❤❤

I've seen a lot of videos and photo blog entries about opulence of Dubai and of course it piqued my curiosity. But your video somehow influenced me so much that now I really want to visit Dubai myself and to bring my family with me. I actually want my family to try this stuff, to see for themselves. That hotel room though - WOW! Georgie really reminds me of British-Greek TV cook Tonia Buxton, I wonder if they're related.
Been there and it was as awesome as it looks. The pool is small which was a downer for me but overall great hotel if a little far from the dubai mall. The staff and service was all first class. Overall I preferred the JW maquiz in my winter visit for its location and awesome views plus warm pool for the winter weather.

So somewhat inspired by you two's 100 countries journey, I am in the midst of 30 cities before 30, and I'm going to have to switch out a city (or make it 31) to add Dubai to my list because this has already convinced me that Dubai needs to be on my list, let alone this restaurant.
